Consistent enough sort who likes to go from the front but his two tries in handicap company so far have been rather underwhelming. Looks pretty much summed up by his handicap mark and may find life tough off top weight.
Given a break after her debut she showed improved form to get off the mark at the second time of asking over 5f at Ripon. Ran just as well in defeat next time but her nursery debut off 3lb higher and the hood is now reached for as she tries again in handicaps.
Shaped well enough on soft ground before and benefitted from a drop in class to claiming company last time out having finished last in a nursery previously. Now equipped with cheekpieces in an effort to find some more improvement back in handicaps.
Six runs so far have yet to yield a win but given a break and a switch to handicaps he's looked to be an improved performer. He's shaped well on his last two starts (better than his final placing) but can be slow away and that would be a question mark here over 5f.
Still yet to win a race and makes her handicap debut having again finished well held last time out. She has shown some speed in her races and that will stand her in good stead but she needs to settle better in her races.
Had looked as though he was being brought with handicaps in mind in his first few runs but she did too much too soon on his debut in this sphere. The ground was heavy there and he's worth another chance with blinkers on for the first time.
Forecasts
Undercover Brother (85/40), Bow Belles (5/2), Bahuta Acha (7/2), The Auld Hoose (11/2), Funkadelic (12/1), Mocead Cappall (14/1)
Top weight Undercover Brother wasn’t beaten that far last time out but may find giving weight away all-round a stiff enough task here. A couple these need to bounce back after disappointing in handicaps last time out with Bow Belles being one of those and THE AULD HOOSE the other one who should appreciate the better ground here with the headgear going on for the first time. Bahuta Acha looks as though he could find this 5f a bit sharp especially as he can start slowly with Funkadelic needing to find more back in handicaps after taking a claimer last time out.
- The Auld Hoose
- Bow Belles
- Funkadelic
