Fitted with a hood in a bid to get him to settle and aid his jumping. Landed a Down Royal bumper when the good ground was responsible for a much improved effort. Could make his mark now handicapping so keep an eye on the market.
Has failed to win a race of any description since his juvenile days at Balydoyle. Showed some positive signs on the Flat this summer and again here in July. Found the trip too far last time.
Not disgraced at long odds in a couple of soft ground novice events during the winter. Not as good in handicaps when conditions were quicker but not ruled out in this company if conditions remain as forecast.
Winner of three races for Liz Doyle in Ireland where he showed a preference for testing ground. Withdrawn after becoming unruly last week and, even if he makes it to post, he is likely to find things happening too quickly.
Suited to the quick ground when scoring at Taunton in April. Forecast conditions and an absence following a poor run make him a risk this time.
Ground was probably softer than described when easily brushed aside at Ffos Las in June. Taken out of another race at Fontwell two weeks ago when conditions softened. Previous form makes him a contender under a skilled rider.
Career best came on heavy ground when failing to land a gamble in January. Travelled strongly that day but a blunder two out and a more determined rival found him out. Interesting to see how the market rates him after a break.
Landed four races in 2015 but has drawn a blank since and no promise shown in three starts back from a 10 month break. However, cheekpieces go back on and highly rated claimer has been booked to ride. One to note in the market.
Last win came in May 2015 and he has become unreliable since. Showed some spark on the Flat this summer but his last run eight weeks ago was poor. Experienced rider on board but still hard to recommend.
Dual winning point-to-pointer who was taken out of a Southwell seller in July. Best performance under rules came over C&D on soft ground but it remains an effort which suggests he has a lot to do at the weights.
Was in the process of producing a career best until blundering two out at Ffos Las in May. Off the track since but worth monitoring in the market in this company off 3lb lower. Yard have had a couple of winners this month after a quiet spell.
Revealed some promise in an Exeter bumper earlier this year. Has shown little aptitude for hurdling and switch to handicapping will need to have startling results. New headgear fitted.
Winner here two years ago but his mark has been steadily falling over the past two years without looking ready to win. Makes little appeal following a six month absence.
Some signs last time this dual winning Flat miler may be getting the hang of things over hurdles. Remains hard to fancy despite a 5lb drop in the weights.
Landed a soft ground bumper for Harry Fry and hurdling form has been mixed. Has shown enough to suggest she can compete in a race as bad as this if her jumping improves.
Lacks consistency but managed to land a Fakenham seller last November. Suited to forcing tactics and good rider has been booked. New mark would give him a chance if the mood suits.

INIESTA has been in good form on the Flat this summer and acquitted himself well here in July. He looks to have a realistic chance In a race where there are few positive signals from the participants. Love The Leader and Barney From Tyanee are two to watch in the ring whilst Bambi Du Noyer should give a good account if the ground does not deteriorate.
- Iniesta
- Love The Leader
- Bambi Du Noyer
