Won his maiden at Chester and ran well in a valuable sales race at the Curragh when last seen when third of 29. Capable of more progression and has proven himself conditions wise so can't be ruled out if he improves for the step back up in trip.
Winner at Goodwood two starts back and ran a respectable race at York since in a valuable handicap. This is easier but he was a little disappointing when last tried over this trip.
AW winner on debut at Wolverhampton but he's been a disappointing short-priced favourite twice since. Gelded subsequently and that may see him in a better light here.
Left Richard Hannon after a Ascot win and finished a staying on fourth on his debut for this yard at Sandown earlier this month. Appeared to stay 7f on that occasion and yard have been in good form with juveniles this year; yard won this last year.
Has run to a fair level on all three of his starts and only just touched off at Salisbury last time. Only a matter of time before he sheds his maiden tag and handicap mark looks fair. Should run well with top jockey in the saddle.
Improved, possibly for fast ground, to win on his fourth start and get the better of nine rivals. Runner-up has franked the form subsequently and likely to give it a good go from the front but may not want any rain to arrive
Improved for his debut when fifth of 12 at Newbury and was impressive when making all at Epsom last time, winning with a bit in hand. Form of that race has been well advertised by the runner-up and third since and opening handicap mark looks fair.
Forecasts
Bombastic (9/4), Dragons Tail (9/2), Lethal Lunch (9/2), Red Roman (6/1), Running Cloud (7/1), Rogue (15/2), Deadly Accurate (14/1)
DEADLY ACCURATE could be the one to side with and he looks like he's on a decent mark for his handicap debut. Dragons Tail performed with credit last time in a valuable Curragh race and it's possible he could improve for the step up in trip. Clive Cox won this contest last year and he saddles Lethal Lunch but the main danger could be Bombastic who has been running well in defeat lately.
