Unraced €18,000 third foal by Yeats out of Gaybric. His dam was placed on her sole start in a bumper, and is a half-sister to the multiple winner Nolans Pride. Likely to do better for this experience.
Unraced ninth foal by Dylan Thomas out of Polo. Half-brother to numerous Flat winners including Home Of The Range (1m5f). Stamina a slight concern, but a very eye-catching jockey booking.
Sold at Punchestown for €125,000 after beating subsequent Point-to-Point winner Djarkevi by 3L in a 3m Ballysteen maiden (April). Dam a half-sister to 1999 Irish National winner Glebe Lad, and this trainer saddled a bumper winner at Perth recently.
Has left Tom Lacey since finishing 10¼L third of six to Jaunty Flyer on his rules debut in an Exeter bumper in April (2m1f good). Would need to improve on that effort to play a hand on stable debut.
Unraced second foal by Mahler out of the unraced dam Nadwell. However, she was closely related to bumper/hurdle and chase winner Vic Ville and a half-sister to a couple of winners which offers some encouragement.
£6,000 three-year-old by Getaway and a half-sister to bumper and hurdles winner Presenting Mahler. Hasn't appeared out of the ordinary in bumpers so far, but could do better after a summer break.
Forecasts
Senor Lombardy (1/3), Ey Up Rocky (5/1), Kick On Dottie (11/1), Aye Right (14/1), Zamarkhan (25/1), Country Delights (66/1)
Keith Dalgleish has a decent record in bumpers and saddled a winner out of the Point-to-Point field at Perth earlier this month. Furthermore, connections of the unexposed €125,000 Punchestown sales purchase SENOR LOMBARDY took this very same contest with the now sadly ill-fated Meet The Legend in 2015. In a race where viable opposition appears relatively thin on the ground, this stamina proven four-year-old should have more than the required attributes to score on his rules debut despite this track probably not playing to his strengths.
- Senor Lombardy
- Zamarkhan
- Ey Up Rocky
