The only C&D winner in the field she showed improved form to win in that run last time out despite looking still to be work in progress. Looks to be open to further improvement despite giving weight away to the entire field.

Failed to step up on his first two runs on his initial outing for this yard last time over 6f at Carlisle (travelled well but failed to see the trip out). Now back at 5f he probably needs a little more to take a hand in this.

Certainly knew more the second time out at Lingfield over 6f after making his debut over the same trip at Salisbury. Couldn't quite go with the two that finished in front of him last time out although the form does look modest behind those three.

Not really fancied on his debut (started 12/1) over 5f at Pontefract he did show some ability but looked rather green and he definitely needed the experience. Needs to improve but well drawn here to take advantage of he finds the expected improvement.

Despite the plum draw here he's becoming a frustrating sort who was beaten on his nursery debut last time out. Went off far too hard the time before that and may well have reached his limits in terms of form and faced with improving sorts here.

Fared by far the best of the newcomers when taking the runner-up slot on her debut over 6f at Windsor in a minor event. Now encounters softer going and a shorter trip on her second start from a wide draw.

Will do well to get involved her having shown very little on two starts so far both over 7f. Switch back to the minimum trip not an obvious move to help her here.

Handed a tough draw here on the outside of the field having shown ability on her debut (looked green) but looking as though the race was needed. Looks as though she will stay 6f and should know more this time around.

One of two runners from this yard both look sure to start at big prices here although she did show something on her debut. Failed to come on for that run though last time out and faces a stiff task here and looks destined for nurseries.

Yard are not known for their juveniles but this one ran with great credit on her debut despite showing inexperience. She finished her race off well over 5f at Catterick and looked as though there would be better to come (not fared well with the draw here).

Forecasts

Angel's Whisper (2/1), Laubali (7/2), Elnadim Star (13/2), Palmer (7/1), Albert Street (8/1), Enrolment (8/1), Loulin (14/1), Paco Escostar (16/1), Magic Pulse (50/1), Cuppacoco (80/1)

Verdict

Paco Escostar would have been interesting if she been drawn a little better here and the other filly of note Angel’s Whisper hasn’t fared well in that department either as she tries 5f on softer ground. The well drawn Palmer has become rather disappointing of late and Elnadim Star may well be able to show more improvement to give weight away to the whole field. Owen Burrows had a winning two-year-old yesterday at Yarmouth and with the stable going well at the moment his LAUBALI is given a chance to get off the mark on his third start.
  1. Laubali
  2. Elnadim Star
  3. Angel's Whisper
