Dual purpose performer, has run only once on the Flat since 2014, beaten close to 20L off a mark of 65 at Southwell (AW) over 1m4f in March. Has been off 172 days prior to this, did win twice over timber in 2016.
Showed precious little in trio of maidens, then took advantage of opening mark of 56 to score over 1m2fd at Chelmsford (AW) on handicap debut in February. Off since, relocated to this yard, market should reveal plenty on return going up in trip.
Filly made just two appearances before leaving William Haggas, well beaten in maidens, similar tale on final day of last month on debut for this yard over 1m5f on AW at Chelmsford. Makes handicap debut over this shorter trip.
Eight-race maiden but has really started to perform for the switch to turf, placed in three of four runs over 1m2f/1m4f so far. Mark unchanged after ½L defeat last time at Brighton in five-runner contest. In the mix once more.
Slowly getting the hang of things this year on turf, decent effort last time over 1m6f at Redcar when 3¾L fourth of nine. Eased 1lb but promising form has all been on good to firm.
Record on turf is just 1-23 but has run couple of good races here recently over 1m2f and was second over this trip in October last off a 5lb higher rating so could get involved here on that form.
A 22-race maiden, efforts this year haven't suggested a win is looming up soon, though mark is sliding right down with each defeat.
Authorized gelding was well beaten in all three maidens and tailed off on handicap bow at Nottingham last month, though the 2m trip offered there might have been asking too much. Down in journey, could do better.
Not disgraced in pair of 1m2f handicaps at Brighton (both good to firm) this summer. Step up in trip might drag a little more improvement form him and has scope for better on just third turf start.
Best effort so far came on penultimate start over 1m4f at Brighton when just over 3L fourth of 13, perhaps best to forget subsequent AW effort, though soft ground must rank as a concern.

Forecasts
Broughtons Admiral (13/8), Dragonite (11/2), Fortia (7/1), Seaborn (7/1), Magic Beans (8/1), Ablaze (8/1), Sexy Secret (10/1), Mungo Madness (10/1), Bizet (16/1), Seventii (18/1), Clearance (28/1), Arrowzone (33/1), Rathealy (100/1)
Seaborn is the starting point returning from a layoff, he made light of his opening mark to win on the AW in February with a much-improved showing and merits respect carrying his 6lb penalty for this first ever start on turf debuting for new trainer. The likes of Seventii and Dragonite have potential but will have to prove themselves on softer ground while Ablaze is running with credit and could get a spark from new headgear now. A chance is take on SEXY SECRET, who ran well here recently over a shorter trip on firmer ground than would have been ideal. Now rated 5lb lower than when finishing second over this journey on good to soft back in October, both trip and conditions give him claims on his best form.
- Sexy Secret
- Seaborn
- Ablaze
