Placed just once in 11 Flat starts and very hard to make a case for off a mark of 38. Tough ask and others preferred in this contest.

Gutsy and genuine over the summer including finishing ½L behind Flaming Sea here at the festival last month. Can improve on recent starts and be a big player back at the track.

Forecasts

Alaykha (9/10), Dawn Choir (7/2), Bound (4/1), Awayinthewest (10/1), Dream Sleep (10/1), Rive Normande (25/1), Allora Yeats (50/1), Bracklin Princess (66/1), Charms Bracelet (66/1)

Verdict

The fitness of Bound can only be taken on trust but Aidren O'Brien has readied a horse from a lay-off on many, many occasions in the past and she is one not to be easily dismissed. Alaykha can be expected to be involved in the finish running in this company, but a chance is taken with the Ellmarie Holden-trained DAWN CHOIR who was just held off here at the festival last month.
  1. Dawn Choir
  2. Alaykha
  3. Bound
