Not at his best so far this season having enjoyed a productive campaign last year; certainly stays this far but possibly slightly better over shorter when racing on the Flat.
Useful type over middle distances on the all-weather but is yet to convince that she stays this far and her record of 0-4 on the turf has to be of concern.
Mostly unexciting efforts since winning at Salisbury last August; handicap mark is now quickly coming down as a result but he isn't in good enough form to suggest that he can take advantage.
0/13 on the Flat and not at her best so far this season since returning from a lengthy absence; others hold more convincing claims here.
Lightly-raced type who has shaped as if he should stay this far in his races up to now; current handicap mark unlikely to be prohibitive and may prefer some rain given his best performance to date came on soft ground.
Off the mark on the Flat at her first attempt at 2m over C&D last time out. Has also won recently over hurdles and arrives here in good form, with an 8lb rise not too much of a concern if she can run to the same level here.
Did well to get up in the final strides at Kempton last time and get off the mark, will need plenty of pace to replicate that performance here and also needs to prove that she can be as effective now back on turf.
C&D victory in June 2015 was his last win on the Flat and mixed record over hurdles since; getting on now and wouldn't want any further rain.
C&D winner last year but very poor efforts so far this season; needs to return to that level of form in order to threaten here and tough to see him doing so.
0-17 across both the Flat and hurdles; first appearance in a Flat turf race since May 2015 and has never looked like threatening in this sphere.
Fair effort when switched to handicapping at Bath last time out and managing fifth, needs further improvement for this step up in trip though she looked like she should stay in the closing stages over 1m6f last time.
Has only beaten one horse home in four maidens to date, and though she is assigned a suitably low opening mark this is a tough enough opening handicap assignment.

Clearly TSUNDOKU relished the step up to 2m here last time and recorded his first Flat victory in good style, in the manner of a horse who should be able to defy an 8lb rise if turning up in the same form. A recent victory over hurdles only encourages further enthusiasm for his chances and he holds every chance of doubling up if Alexandra Dunn has found the key to him in staying trips. The lightly-raced pair Leapt and Artic Nel, both of whom step up in trip here, are others to consider.
