Has proved himself a useful dual purpose performer who has won twice on the Flat for this yard on the AW. Back over hurdles of late he's again looked as though he can break his maiden although he does remain vulnerable to any improvers.

Mixes hurdles with the Flat with his latest win in that sphere coming in a smart Newmarket handicap with his two hurdles starts having shown him in a good light. He does have stamina limitations though and will always be best at a sharp 2m.
Has hinted at ability in bumpers and much the same in novice hurdles without necessarily looking as though he could win one. Looks more the sort for handicaps and will do well to win something like this.

Showed plenty to work on his debut having looked the sort on pedigree to need time and distance when despite conceding first run he looked the most likely winner at Market Rasen. Now makes his hurdles debut and worth a glance despite his inexperience.

Has managed to win on the AW since his hurdles debut for a different stable earlier in the year. Now having his second run for this yard he looked in need of fitness and experience at Southwell last time over further and needs this run for a handicap mark.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: N de Boinville| T: E De Giles| BF

Now blinkered for the first time he makes his hurdles debut here after some respectable efforts of late on the Flat. Has some useful jumps relations in his pedigree and worth a look at in the market.

Winner of a bumper in Ireland when with his former stable he's yet to get anywhere near that form over hurdles. Finished second at Wincanton in March and probably looks the better of his stable's two representatives.

Trixster
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-2| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan
66/1
Makes his debut over hurdles having cost €27,000 and is a half brother to the useful hurdler/chaser Sykes with dam unraced but from a good jumping family. Pedigree suggests that he'll need some time and longer trips to be seen to best effect.

Vado Forte184
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-2| J: R Johnson| T: T Lacey| BF
9/1
Sent off favourite for his bumper debut in March at Kempton Park he ended up being beaten 31L but got upset before the start. Probably capable of better as he makes his hurdles debut with the champion jockey taking the ride.
10

100/1
Showed only mild promise in three hurdles wins in Ireland with the tongue tie on and that's left off today making her debut for a new stable. Would be better off in handicaps rather than novice company.

Well held in her only start so far finishing last in a bumper here earlier in the month and really looks as though she needs time and distance before she shows anything.

Forecasts

Banditry (5/6), Rainy Day Dylan (5/1), Amanto (8/1), Prendergast Hill (8/1), Vado Forte (9/1), Counter Shy (14/1), Billy Elliott (33/1), Free Bounty (50/1), Trixster (66/1), Ask The Diviner (100/1), Madame Ember (150/1)

Verdict

Amanto drops back in trip and really is knocking at the door over hurdles but always appears to be one of those individuals who find one to beat him. Banditry was bar far the best of these on the Flat but may have some stamina issues and COUNTER SHY is given a chance to make a chance to make a winning hurdles debut having shaped well on his only start in a bumper. Free Bounty will be of more interest once he goes handicapping with much better expected from Vado Forte who was well fancied on his bumper debut and now goes hurdling for the first time.
  1. Counter Shy
  2. Amanto
  3. Banditry
