Kalanisi mare is a half-sister to fairly useful 2½m hurdle winner Ballyarthur, fair effort on debut at Down Royal 17 days ago, can improve.
Improving with each of her three starts in this sphere, 2½L second of nine last time at Down Royal and should be right in the firing line again.
Tame effort in 2m Tramore bumper last month on debut on good to soft, has plenty improvement to unlock based on that showing.
Beat just one of 14 rivals home at Ballinrobe in May on debut, coming home in arrears to the tune of 53L. Off since, watching brief best for now.
Just over 4L third of six at Downpatrick on debut over slightly longer trip on debut. Doesn't appear to be one of champion trainer's brightest prospects but respected just the same.
Beaten almost 20L over 2m around here on third start, work to be done if hoping to be more competitive in this.
Faller on debut in novice hurdle at Listowel a week ago, switches to bumper now with confidence to rebuild. Watch betting.
14L fourth of 12 in a bumper at Galway on soft ground, before an improved and promising run, when second eight at Sligo. Can improve again.
Uncompetitive in four bumpers thus far, has been given a short break since 30L defeat over 2m at Wexford in July and has plenty improvement to find.
Daughter of Scorpion made a solid start in this sphere at Ballinrobe recently when just under 2L third of 10 in yielding to soft ground (had previously fallen in one hurdles run). Obvious player if building on that effort now.

Minnies Secret (9/4), Pocket Dial (7/2), Filly Mullins (9/2), Mysloegin (5/1), Betsy Boots (11/2), Florazi (10/1), April Serenade (12/1), Sorrel Sue (25/1), Lady Sherami (25/1), Blue Lobster (33/1), Cantseeforlooking (33/1)
Receiving weight from her rivals could prove decisive for POCKET DIAL, who was a close third on bumper debut at Ballinrobe recently and is entitled to improve for that run. She'd previously travelled nicely in a hurdles race before falling and is taken to open her account now. Mysloegin took a step in the right direction at Sligo when runner-up on second start and should get involved here along with Betsy Boots, while and the aptly named Filly Mullins can also stake a claim for the champion trainer.
- Pocket Dial
- Mysloegin
- Filly Mullins
