Gets a visor on first time here, has run four times so far without ever looking like outrunning the big prices she's gone off at. Watching brief again.

Dawn Approach filly was narrowly beaten in both maidens so far on yielding ground at Roscommon (6f) and Galway (7f). Out to the mile now and sets the standard in this field.

Inexpensive yearling out of Roderic O'connor, well held over 7f on debut at this track 56 days ago, could have more to offer.

Camelot filly cost €320,000 as a yearling, finished eighth of ten in 1m Curragh maiden on debut last month. From Ballydoyle and ought to prove capable of a good deal better.

Probably needed the experience on debut at the Curragh, when improving next time out at the Galway Festival. Can be expected to continue her progress in this company going up the mile for the first time.

Soundly beaten on both starts in maidens to date, and makes no appeal despite fitting of a tongue tie for first time with some smart fillies in opposition.

Forecasts

Moghamarah (7/4), Raynama (11/4), Queen Iseult (7/2), Sister Anne (10/1), Chilton Foliat (10/1), My Snowdrop (14/1), Acht Na Gaeilge (14/1), Divine Approach (14/1), Chica Buena (33/1), Alpine Queen (33/1), Nancy D'Alton (50/1), Whiskey Treat (66/1), Candle In The Wind (100/1), Leedle Lady (100/1)

Verdict

Quite a tasty maiden to get things underway and the standard on form is set Moghamarah, twice runner up over 7f in as many runs, and likely to appreciate the mile offered here. She's the one they all have to aim at on form, though she's likely to be priced accordingly. Newcomers My Snowdrop, Divine Approach and Acht Na Gaeilge are all worthy of close attention in the betting while Raynama could have more to say after two good runs so far. With many eyes fixed elsewhere, Ballydoyle filly QUEEN ISEULT could be under the radar in the hands of Derby-winning rider Padraig Beggy. The daughter of Camelot ran a pleasing race at the Curragh on debut and it won't be any surprise if she improves significantly now.
  1. Queen Iseult
  2. Moghamarah
  3. Raynama
