Multiple winner on heavy ground and will relish the conditions. Gallant second of nine last time out on the Flat at the Galway festival. Could be dangerous now 2lb below last winning mark.
Blotted a fine copy-book last time out when upped in trip and that run can be discounted now back to 1m4f. Untried on ground this heavy but can play a part based on his summer efforts.
Won a Killarney handicap over 1m3f in August but has struggled recently following 5lb rise. Much prefers ground on the soft side and one for the shortlist.
133-rated hurdler is one win from four starts on the Flat. Has placed on heavy ground on two occasions the latest when second of nine in a Navan handicap hurdle in March this year.
Won a Roscommon handicap hurdle at the beginning of the month on bottomless ground. Last seen on the Flat finishing a solid fifth of 20 at the Galway festival last month.
Improved on an eye-catching performance at the Curragh last month when winning a 1m1½f handicap at the same track earlier this month. Looks a long term project and can continue his upgrade here.
May have found the 7lb rise in the weights for a win at the Curragh in an 18-runner handicap too much when putting in a below-par performance at Gowran Park last time out.
Has been toiling over the spring and summer when highly tried over a variety of distances. Looks a tall order given the form to hand.
Had not been seen on the Flat since winning a Navan 1m5f handicap in May 2016 before finding success on return at Tipperary last month over 1m4½. Up 5lb for his win but can play a major part again in this.

Forecasts
All's Quiet (7/2), Ibsen (9/2), Ringside Support (5/1), Ted Veale (6/1), Dalton Highway (7/1), Percy (7/1), Nanabad (8/1), Grand Partner (10/1), Total Demolition (16/1), Storm Ranger (16/1)
Could be a falsely run affair here with any one of five known to make the running in the past. The Galway festival fifth of 20, All's Quiet and the rejuvenated and winner last time out, Ibsen can take a hand at the business end of the race here but a chance is taken on a course winner that has won over this trip, TED VEALE who will relish the conditions.
- Ted Veale
- Ibsen
- All's Quiet
