Won twice for Phillip Hobbs much earlier in his career, but became regressive for Alan Brown after a reasonable start over fences. Very well treated from this mark, and not seen hurdles all that often lately. Tongue tied on stable debut.
Veteran who is well suited by this track, and was a game winner of a C&D event in March (soft). Not so effective latterly and off since May, but back down to his last winning mark, and with a 10lb claimer booked.
Lightly raced and left Fergal O'Brien over the summer after finishing a runner up at Uttoxeter in June (2m7f+ good to soft). Not quite sharp enough to strike on either of his first two starts for this yard, but respected from a reduced mark.
Yet to place in nine starts under rules and failed to complete in two Point-to-Points. Probably best watched, but this trip and ground combination should be more suitable than on his last visit to Hexham in June (2m good).
Dual winner for Dianne Sayer (Sedgefield and Catterick). Appeared strong stamina wise when making all to score in North Yorkshire in December 2015, but unable to win again for that trainer, and moderate so far for this yard.
Nine race maiden, but not fully exposed in handicap company at the age of just six. Should stay (by Milan), and dropped 2lb since finishing fifth on his handicap debut over C&D in May (good).
Not 'won' since March 2014 (disqualified) and plummeted down the weights accordingly since switched these shores. Campaigned over fences most latterly, but he remains a 23 race maiden over hurdles.
Ran out a narrow winner at Bangor in April 2016 (2m7f good) from a 4lb higher mark, and whilst moderate in the main since showed more when 5¾L third to Final Fling over C&D last month. Possibilities.
Ten race maiden who had shown precious little form for various trainers until a much improved keeping on third at Perth latest (3m soft). Possibly flattered by that showing (Galveston fourth), but it remains to be seen if he can progress further.
Eight race maiden who has dropped 15lb in the weights since sent handicapping, and with recent form figures reading P,P,11,P, makes no appeal.
Difficult to anticipate an upturn in form having been disappointing in all her recent starts in various spheres, including over 2m4f here in August. 17 race maiden (0 from 7 over hurdles).

Western Jo makes his debut for the emerging Samantha and Jonathan England partnership, and having already found a bargain with My Renaissance, this Westerner gelding looks a possible market springer now back over hurdles from a much reduced handicap mark of 102 (once trained by Phillip Hobbs). However, GALVESTON has more recent form in the book, and with Gordon Elliott likely still getting to know this ex Fergal O'Brien trained inmate (runner up at Uttoxeter in June), there's every possibility that he's capable of bettering his recent fourth placed run at Perth with Richard Johnson back in the saddle.
