Unlikely to become one of this in form yard's better horses but arrives for this on a reduced mark. Drops in class and latest effort gives him every chance on this slightly better ground.
Has gone off the boil since showing promise on first two starts. The fitting of blinkers is an ominous sign.
Has been campaigned over 6f and joined this yard having romped home in a claimer on similar ground. Acquitted herself well on latest run but there have been few signs she will get this far. Wears a visor for the first time.
Bred to be better suited by this type of trip. Handicapper has taken few chances but still worth checking in the market as he may be better than he has shown.
Steps up in trip having not beaten many home in each of his starts. Took a backward step on soft ground and hard to recommend on current evidence.
Improved for the step up to this trip at Bath and has shown she handles some cut in the ground. Drops in class and looks the type to win a modest race like this.
Best effort came on a soft surface but still leaves her with something to find and the stable have been quiet.
Has failed to distinguish herself in three starts but earns a low handicap mark and cheekpieces go on. Attracted some support last time and stable have hit form in the past week.
€65,000 purchase who has not looked likely to justify that price tag. Stable have won two of the last three runnings of this so worth checking if the market suggests he is ready to show more.
Has been well beaten at lengthy odds on each start and makes little appeal even off this basement mark.
Forecasts
Tony Soprano (5/2), Atalanta Queen (9/2), Dark Blue (5/1), Milan Reef (13/2), Istanbul Pasha (8/1), Galloping Hogan (8/1), Puramente (12/1), Amarone Red (14/1), Blazing Beryl (20/1), Afterthisone (100/1)
Puramente, Amarone Red and Istanbul Pasha are worthy of market checks in a race that will take little winning as each are probably capable of better than we have seen so far. Atalanta Queen carries stamina doubts but Tony Soprano drops in class and represents a stable that are going well. DARK BLUE acquitted herself well when tackling this trip at Bath and she has shown she handles this going. This looks easier and she is taken to score.
- Dark Blue
- Tony Soprano
- Amarone Red
