Scored on debut and has put in very similar efforts in defeat since then. Won't mind any rain and if headgear can give him a little extra then he should not be far away from a second success.
Is making steady improvement and ran well on a novices' contest here last time, when beaten less than 2L over C&D (good to soft). Dropped 1lb going into this nursery debut and will probably need to improve to win it.
Came good at Brighton (6f, good) last week, for which he is penalised here. Wouldn't want rain (was taken out on good to soft at Lingfield since his win) and will need improvement to defy the extra 6lb.
Best handicap run so far was at Thirsk (6f, good to soft) two starts ago when a 1½L third from 1lb higher. Beaten over 7½f last time, but the return to this stiff 6f may well suit him and he looks weighted to go close with claimer up.
Went close over 5f at Ripon (good to firm) in May, but subsequently gelded and well beaten back there on his nursery debut last week. From the same mark today he looks up against it.
Wouldn't go overboard about what we have seen from him so far and although placed, he was beaten 8L at Southwell last time. That was his first run since being gelded, so he may do better now he has a handicap mark. Market check advised.
Comfortably accounted for in all three nursery starts so far (all over 6f and on good to soft/soft ground). A slide in the weights continues with another 3lb drop today and a better effort would not surprise.
Showed a bit of promise at Thirsk earlier in the campaign, but gelded since being well beaten here in June. Was taken out of a race (self certificate) at Hamilton last week and goes into this 2lb lower and with blinkers applied. Could improve.
Has done all her racing so far over 7f/1m and was beaten over 6L over the former trip on her nursery debut at Musselburgh last time. Drops 2lb going into this as well as in trip and this stiff 6f may play to her strengths. Market check suggested.
Ran well at Thirsk (6f, good) last time when runner-up and beaten less than 3L on her nursery debut. That was an improved effort and if she can continue on an upward curve then she could have a say in the outcome this time.
Showed a glimmer of promise on debut, but little else in two subsequent runs. Begins in nurseries from a mark that looks tough enough on what we have seen, but positive vibes in the market would make him interesting.
Showed a bit of ability in her first two outings at Pontefract and Chester, but well beaten on her nursery debut (1m, good) at Ripon last time. 5lb drop, plus her pilot's claim will make a difference, as may the drop to a stiff 6f. Interesting.
Promised more on her first two runs than she delivered at Catterick last time, but things may change now that she has a handicap mark and tackles this company. Not an obviously generous initial mark, so a market check looks prudent.

Havana Star (2/1), Admiral Rooke (11/2), Lucky Lucky Man (13/2), Excellent Times (13/2), Tough Remedy (7/1), Diamond Dougal (8/1), Mabo (12/1), Skyva (18/1), The Auld Hoose (18/1), Lady Sandy (20/1), Acromatic (25/1), Fastalong (28/1), Ryedale Encore (33/1), Bahuta Acha (50/1)
Havana Star looks capable of going close in this open event, where Tough Remedy and Lucky Lucky Man are others with decent credentials. Acromatic is a potential improver along with Excellent Times, though it is the latter's stablemate FASTALONG who is suggested. She could be a different proposition now dropped in trip and also 5lb in the weights and a big effort would not surprise.
