Not won since May 2016 (5f, Hamilton), but clearly handicapped to do so now racing from a 13lb lower mark. However, a major worry is his suitability to this surface (unplaced on four previous attempts over C&D).
Broke the maiden tag at the 12th attempt when backing up a solid run at Leicester by beating Agnethe by 1¾L at Yarmouth in early August (5f soft). Beaten since from this 5lb higher mark, but was slowly away at Bath on that occasion.
In decent form during the month of May, winning from a mark of 60 at Ripon. Has won four races on the AW from 54 starts, and was a runner up from this mark at this track in March, so impossible to rule out.
Improved since switched to handicaps on turf, finishing a runner up on both attempts in this grade (at Ayr and Nottingham). Up a further 3lb, but obvious contender now that she's hit form if able to translate that improvement back to the AW.
Difficult ride, who sometimes doesn't appear to give his all, but can be unleashed with a potent turn of foot as he demonstrated when winning for this rider over C&D in November. Went close at Musselburgh latest, so a major player tonight.
Five race maiden, who managed to finish second to Liquid at Thirsk in June (5f good to firm). Not progressed since sent handicapping, and more required on AW debut from a 3lb lower mark.
Proved more effective dropped back to 5f here on Friday when 3½L third to Nuns Walk, but the front two were in a different parish there and this represents a stronger race.
C&D maiden winner in September 2016 who has had plenty of opportunities to follow up at this track in similar low grade handicaps (never entirely disgraced). Not so sharp on turf and slipping in the weights as the first time visor is applied.
13 race maiden who arguably ran her best race when runner up to Dazacam over C&D in December. Not seen masses of racing since then and might pick up a small race on this surface eventually.
Fairly dismal in three goes in maidens (6f to 7f), but drops to the minimum trip for her handicap debut, and this race represents just her second start for this trainer. Capable of better.
12 race maiden. Yet to win on the AW in four starts, but placed over C&D from an 11lb higher mark in November 2016, so a revival isn't beyond the realms of possibility if the first time hood makes a positive impression.
Nothing to remotely get excited about in six starts on turf (5f to 6f) so far. Dropped a total of 4lb since being allocated a handicap mark and wears a hood for her AW debut.

Boogie Babe has been a major improver since sent handicapping on turf, and has obvious claims if able to translate that ability back onto synthetics (disappointing earlier in her career). However, she faces a fairly formidable rival in the shape of the enigmatic GROUNDWORKER. The Paul Midgley trained sprinter is best suited by coming late off a fast pace and needs the splits. Whilst some might crab his latest effort at Musselburgh (held every chance, and certainly hasn't always delivered in the past), he was briefly checked about one and a half furlongs from home, and had he been able to come stands side of the eventual winner (See Vermont) rather than far, the placings might well have been reversed. This decisive C&D winner (from a 4lb higher mark) rates as a solid selection.
