Disappointing on last two starts following promising run over 1m at Naas in July. Distance winner but has struggled on a softer surface in the past. Fifth of 11 in this race last year.
Popular veteran who will have his each way supporters. Will go on the heavy ground but losing run goes back to 2015 and is now 18lbs lower than last win.
As many poor runs as good ones this year but did go close on soft to heavy ground at Naas in March. Others make more appeal in this contest.
Formerly with Jim Bolger did not disgrace himself on return to the track when ninth of 14 in a Killarney handicap on good ground in July. Has changed stables since and others make more appeal.
Entering the veteran stage of his career but appears to be holding his form at the moment. Has form on heavy ground over the distance and in a field of this size. Coming back down to mark he can be dangerous from.
Won a 22-runner Navan handicap on good ground in April off a mark of 69. Well beaten since and still 3lb higher than last win. Others hold stronger profiles.
Put a string of below-par performances behind him when winning a Roscommon handicap on heavy ground over 7f last month. Clearly in good heart currently but raised 8lb for the win. Third of 11 in this race last year.
Distance winner who was beaten favourite last time out in a Curragh 6f handicap on yielding ground. Has heavy ground form and has gone well in fields of this size but may need to improve here.
Distance winner at Yarmouth in October when with the Chris Dwyer yard. Second of 18 in a Roscommon handicap over 7f on stable debut last time out and one for the shortlist.
Mixed bag in three efforts so far, latest coming over 5f at the Curragh in May, ground no issue but does have improvement to find back up in trip.
Finished 3¾L behind Youceeyouceecee last time out at Roscommon on heavy ground. Can improve on that run with ground in her favour, first-time tongue-tie/visor comination and now 3lb lower than last winning mark.
Now an 11-race maiden with seven defeats coming on the Flat. Not disgraced in last three starts confirmed by the handicapper taking no chances with the gelding.
First Reserve: Without a win in the 13 starts on turf but has hit the frame on seven occasions. Represents Weld team but must improve to land this.
Third Reserve: Has been running solidly in the summer but that form has tailed of recently with the mare toiling in her last two starts.

The initial pace of the race may come from stalls six and seven with Alans Pride and Athas An Bhean taking the field along in the early stages. It has paid to be up with the pace in this race in recent seasons which is a positive for Mountain Fox who needs a change of luck, Stoked and the selection, ENJOY LIFE who can improve on his run on stable debut at Navan.
