The early pace could possibly set the race up for one of those racing prominently behind the speed, notably Ice Storm who can be expected to improve on debut run, Althiba who has shown she is better at this level and the unlucky Dochasach who is likely to be a warm order here. Preference is for the Dermot Weld-trained ALAHIDA whose yard has a 50% strike rate with their three-year-olds racing over 1m and further at this meeting in the last four seasons.
