3-18 on AW tracks and placed a further eight times. C&D winner and he specialises at this trip. Has to be delivered at the last possible moment and that requires plenty of luck. Weighted to be thereabouts.
Landed a Chester claimer in June and has had little chance in better company since. Back in the right grade here but others have more obvious claims at the weights and the yard are struggling to get on the scoresheet.
5-18 on AW tracks with those stats buoyed by a lucrative campaign in 2014. Romped home in a Chelmsford seller last autumn and highly tried since. Worth noting in the market as definite claims if back to his best and trainer does well with this type.
Won a couple of races as a juvenile but form has declined over the past two months. Drops in class for his AW debut but has a difficult task at the weights. Stable took this last year.
Has something to find on these terms with Al Khan on recent running at Beverley. However, he is rated significantly better on AW tracks and a good record on this surface at Newcastle will raise hopes he can turn the tables.
Fared best of those ridden from behind when chasing home a subsequent handicap winner at Beverley in similar grade (had Tatlisu behind). Weighted to be in the mix and his last three runs in this grade have yielded one win and two seconds.
Won a similar event under this rider over C&D in July before finding himself outclassed next time. Stable without a winner over the past four weeks but weighted to be competitive.

Forecasts
Unforgiving Minute (7/4), Horsted Keynes (15/8), Tatlisu (6/1), Al Khan (15/2), Michele Strogoff (12/1), Joey's Destiny (12/1), Awesome Allan (50/1), Imperial Link (50/1), Ambitious Boy (50/1)
Horsted Keynes has claims if his rider can deliver at the right moment as he has a habit of just relinquishing races close home. Tatlisu is better on AW circuits and, having gone well off a mark of 90 at Newcastle earlier this season, he has to be considered. Unforgiving Minute is a market angle for this but we side with AL KHAN who went down in a good race for this grade at Beverley. The winner defied a 6lb penalty next time to land a handicap and a repeat performance should be good enough.
