Related to six winners but pedigree suggests he needs further than this. Has shown promise in two competitive maidens but may come up short after a three month break.

Price dropped from €70,000 as a yearling to 20,000 gns at last month's Newmarket breeze-ups. Half-brother to a couple of winners but from a yard who are just 1-24 at the track.
€50,000 purchase by Equiano out of a dual winning mare who was effective at 1m-1m2f. Brother to a Grade Three winner in the US. Yard have had a couple of juvenile winners in 2017 and he would not have to be anything special to take this.

Well beaten on both starts thus far and faces another stern test. Comes from a good family but looks the type who needs more time.

£22,000 daughter of Clodovil and related to three winners including the useful handicapper Third Time Lucky. Stable have a nice crop of youngsters and the market will tell us how she rates amongst them.
No chance with easy winner on Kempton debut and found wanting last time. Ground may have counted against her then and this looks less demanding.

7/2
43,000 gns daughter of Kodiac who was unloved in the market prior to her debut. Turned in an eyecatching performance that day, albeit in a weak AW contest. Stable's juveniles improve with experience and this looks a weak race by Ascot standards.

£32,000 daughter of Society Rock out of a dam who won four races over 5f-6f. Stable have had winners with 10 of the 25 juveniles they have turned out in 2017, so one to take seriously.

Forecasts

Society Lilly (5/2), Odyssa (7/2), Fashion Sense (9/2), Montague (9/2), Last Enchantment (7/1), Desert Trip (8/1), United Kingdom (12/1), Saphil (25/1), Achianna (66/1)

Verdict

This looks the weaker of the two divisions of this with those to have raced not reaching the standards you would expect of a potential Ascot winner. Last Enchantment faced a stiff task on debut and may have found conditions against her last time. She is entitled to do better here as should Odyssa who made an eyecatching debut when weak in the market. SOCIETY LILLY represents a stable with a good crop of youngsters and there is plenty of speed in her pedigree. She would only need to be average to take this.
  1. Society Lilly
  2. Last Enchantment
  3. Odyssa
