Progressing nicely in three runs over hurdles, ½L second at Tramore over 2m last month bodes well and should be in the firing line.
Best effort, from five, over hurdles was close second at Naas in January over 2m on yielding ground. Pulled up in July at Bellewstown and likely to want some give underfoot to be seen at best.

Well beaten in his first three starts over these obstacles, including over this trip last time out at Kilbeggan 13 days ago. More called for.

Beaten 33L in a 2m maiden hurdle at Tramore last month, has not shown enough in five starts over these flights to warrant support at the moment.

Promising effort in Galway bumper last month when 9L second of seven (2m2½f, yielding to soft) but that much the best of four efforts so far and poor since at Kilbeggan. Tongue tie on for jumps bow.

Excellent second at Tipperary in July over 2m on fourth hurdles start but not backed that up when backed since at Tramore on soft ground. Not ruled out and better ground forecast here should help.

Maiden after six starts on the Flat and one previous hurdles spin came at Tipperary (2m, good) in May in midst of that run, resulting in hefty defeat (66L). Others preferred.

Frustrating sort who has been let down by hurdling technique at times so far, went chasing last month at Tramore (2m6f, good) and made a pleasing start, doesn't immediately appeal coming back to smaller obstacles.

Gelding makes his first appearance here, yard have been quiet lately and are 1-8 at this venue over the previous year. Market check advised.

Cost just €1,600, she ran green on debut over hurdles and never really got competitive over 2m at Cork in May. Needs to have learned plenty from that experience to figure here.
Debutant, filly out of Oscar represents yard with 0-9 record at the track in the previous year. Market can guide here.

Verdict

Tree Of Knowledge has now become a frustrating proposition for punters, disappointing numerous times when supported. He could get the hang of this in time, but isn't a viable bet at the moment. Instead, last-time-out runner-up GLAN Y GORS is given the nod, having progressed in each of three runs over timber so far and gone just down a ½L at Tramore last time, the extra yards here should assist and he can open his account. Back on a better surface, Born To Size could atone for a poor showing at Tramore while Balinaboola Steel could have some say based on a Galway bumper run last month if taking to the jumping.
