Promising debut effort at Carlisle in June but hasn't run to that level in two starts since, racing too keenly on each occasion. Needs to overcome that trait and settle better here to put it up to the major players, especially over this longer trip.
Won very nicely on debut at Newcastle last time (6f, standard), and has a tongue strap applied for the first time here. Despite the win conditions dictate that she still doesn't carry top-weight and she should be set for another big run.
Ran one of her better races over shorter here last time out, apparently enjoying the surface, which she tackled for the first time there. Should be capable of hitting the frame if building on that effort now back in novice company.
Cityscape colt who cost 11,000gns as a yearling. Pedigree is of relatively little account but his dam did win over this trip as a juvenile. The market may prove informative.
Beaten 26L into last of 13 on debut at Newmarket last time, when sent off an unfancied 100/1. Has next to no chance unless showing plenty of improvement from that debut.
Has run to a similar level on her two starts so far and her scope for progression remains limited, at least while still in novice company, and the drop in trip doesn't necessarily seem the obvious move.
Has only beaten one horse home in two starts so far, and has plenty to prove on the basis of her most recent performance when beaten 15L in a field of only five runners.
Beaten 8L on debut last time at Newmarket but did herself no favours throughout the race, including when starting slowly. Should be capable of a more accomplished performance here without being considered a likely winner.

A few of these have shown promise, most of obviously Hikmaa, who won well on debut at Newcastle last time and is obvious interest under a penalty (though still not top-weight, due to the conditions of this novice auction event). Preference, though, is for SPEAK IN COLOURS. Marco Botti's juvenile ran very well to finish third despite being far too keen in the early stages on his racecourse debut at Nottingham last time. That heavy ground may not have suited, either, and he can come on from that performance in a big way. Gold Filigree ran well in a handicap here last time and is another to consider.
