Maiden winner over 6f at Naas in April, remains unexposed and could easily have a say in this if improving for handicap runs at Cork and Killarney last month. Stable in good form.
A dual winner over this distance but is 4lb higher than last win and was beaten favourite last time out in Leopardstown handicap over 6f. Never raced on worse than good ground.
Shown some promising form in maidens this term and duly off the mark last time out at Dundalk (7f, AW). Merits consideration back on the turf.
Showed some promise in trio of maiden runs in late July / early August all over this trip, has potential to do better now switched to handicaps.
Couple of promising efforts in five maidens, could be an interesting handicap debutant now and worth paying attention to in the betting.
Close up fourth of ten over 1m at Naas (good) in July on handicap debut, though since run tame race over same trip at Killarney (yielding ground). Bit to prove on form now.
Solid efforts in narrow defeats at Galway and Roscommon (both soft ground) before perhaps finding 6f a bit sharp at Navan four days ago. Better suited over this trip.
Disappointing eight-race maiden, but not disgraced by any means in the fillies maidens last three starts, but difficult to put her up here.
Forecasts
Twist Of Magic (2/1), Sorelle Delle Rose (3/1), Betty Loch (6/1), Dandys Gold (7/1), Uno Momento (8/1), Above Us Only Sky (14/1), In Somno (16/1), Maysonette (16/1)
Betty Loch got off the mark last time out at Dundalk on the AW and has shown enough previously on turf to ensure she's respected off this rating in a handicap now. Sorelle Delle Rose is not far off landing a blow for the in-form Weld team while Dandys Gold is a player on form but to answer questions on this likely testing surface. Maysonette looks capable of a say now stepping out in a handicap for the first time but TWIST OF MAGIC twice ran well over this trip on soft ground at Galway and Roscommon before disappointing over 6f at Navan four days ago. Back up in trip and with the ground to suit, she should be on the premises.
- Twist Of Magic
- Betty Loch
- Dandys Gold
