Looked sure to win a novice when second over 5f at Bath in May but couldn't reproduce that effort when sent off a short price over the same C&D next time. Not seen since, which is a concern, but form is there if she can bounce back.

Two runs so far have revealed little, and she pulled too hard for her own good last time. May do better back on quicker ground here but may be happier in nurseries, which is where she's likely to be heading after today.

135,000 Euro purchase this year, bred to be useful and has shown a good level of form in both starts, not beaten far either occasion. Sharp 5f here may not be ideal but hard to discount and if running her race, should be on the premises.

Soft and heavy ground a possible excuse for her drop off in form recently but equally connections go for a visor to try and get her back on track. Already looks a risky proposition and others preferred.

Plenty of promise to be taken from her debut at Ripon, not given a hard time once her chance had gone and she will come on from that. Yard 3-7 with their two year olds here over the last five seasons and she looks one that is sure to progress today.

Not the worst debut run at Newbury by any means, showing speed and still holding a chance when finding a bit of trouble in running late on. Yard have a 24% strike rate with their two year olds here and on that, she needs a second look.

Last on debut at Windsor when slowly away and hanging under pressure. Looks to need more time and likely to find others a bit sharper here.

Trainer knows the family well and she's bred to be both speedy and decent. Well backed to make a winning debut at Newbury but then couldn't handle Goodwood's cambers last time, hanging badly. That is a concern here too but chances if bouncing back.

Showed both ability and a bit of temperament here fist time up, finishing fourth to Listen Alexander. Has since changed hands and although bred to be decent at sprint trips, may be best watched today.

Forecasts

Mushahadaat (15/8), Kaaba Stone (11/4), Global Rose (9/2), Awesome (13/2), Shaya (14/1), Kodina (14/1), Highland Mary (20/1), Eastern Sunrise (25/1), Miss Condi (150/1)

Verdict

Global Rose has the form in the book but a chance is taken on KODINA, who shaped nicely on her debut at Newbury and this drop back to five furlongs might suit her at this stage. She wouldn't need to improve much to get involved. Mushahadaat can do better if not hanging this time.
  1. Kodina
  2. Global Rose
  3. Mushahadaat
