Switches back to hurdles after an unproductive (success wise) extended spell over fences. Has won twice over hurdles earlier on in his career (Chepstow) when based down South and now more realistically treated from this mark. Better with cut.
Inched up the weights 2lb for a narrow defeat by Just Joelliott at Ludlow in January (3m soft) and held thereafter at Lingfield. Off since February, so fitness to prove, but rainfall (5mm forecast) beneficial.
Three time winner in Ireland for Jonathan Fogarty (at upto 2m2f), and shaped adequately on his seasonal return (second start for this yard) when a 7L runner up to Beeno at Cartmel last month (2m1f good). Up 2lb, and stamina to prove.
Has gone close in maiden hurdles in Ireland in the past, notably over this trip at Killarney in July 2016, but overall profile isn't progressive and doesn't appear well-handicapped for his stable bow.
Runner-up in a Point-to-Point (May 2016) and has raced four times over hurdles without showing any great promise. Still early days and given connections has to be respected on only his second run in a handicap.
Twice a runner up in similar events over C&D in 2017, albeit beaten many lengths on both occasions. Ran a reasonable enough race on his most recent start at Perth in August (fourth to Thorpe), but others likely better treated.
Largely progressive at a lowly level throughout the summer of 2016, and a 7L runner up over 2m (mares novices) here in October 2016. Not so productive in 2017, and reluctant at the start at Uttoxeter in July. Wears first time cheek-pieces.
Raised 8lb for her idling Cartmel success in early July (3m1f+ good), and a test of stamina is seemingly her forte so this shorter trip is a slight negative. Needs to find improvement on her latest effort at this track, but is tongue tied today.
A foray or two over fences, has seemingly convinced this gelding that hurdling is much more to his liking, and whilst beaten 17L in a 3m seller here in June, he was an unlikely all out neck C&D winner last month. Up 5lb.

Tornado Watch would have reasonable claims based upon both his form in Ireland, and his recent second at Cartmel, but the worry must be that this longer trip could prove troublesome. Flying Jack and Notnowsam clashed over C&D last month, with the Maurice Barnes trained horse showing improved form to get off the mark at the 15th attempt. However, that race wasn't the strongest of contests, and with no strong preference for a selection, the tentative vote goes to MINELLA REBELLION. He was basically disappointing in novice company last term, but he's not fully exposed in handicaps, and the fact that he actually remains in the care of Nicky Henderson hopefully implies that much stronger showings are a distinct possibility this term.
