Progressive gelding who has won two of his last three starts and now finds himself 8lb higher than for the first of them. This jockey was on board for both wins so he looks a player even though this is a faster surface than he has won on.
Promise in maidens before being placed in two handicaps off this sort of mark. May have found 1m 6f too far last time, but seems to lack a change of gear. Still early days for her, however.
Won a handicap over this trip at Thirsk in April, but subsequent efforts have been disappointing. Has dropped down to a mark 2lb lower than when successful and would have a clear chance if the first-time visor has a positive effect.
Down the field on first start for this trainer, but bounced back to win a 1m2f handicap at Salisbury. Well beaten off 6lb higher next time over 1m, but that was on soft ground and this surface should be more suitable. Stamina to prove.

Forecasts
Pete So High (5/6), Inconceivable (7/4), Milky Way (2/1), Lyrica's Lion (8/1), Melabi (14/1)
All five of these have claims. Milky Way is lightly-raced and open to improvement, Inconceivable has ability and has time on her side, and Lyrica's Lion will appreciate this better surface. Melabi is on a lower handicap mark than when last successful and is visored for the first time, but the percentage call is PETE SO HIGH, who is progressive, knows how to win and gets on particularly well with this jockey.
