Dual winner early in the season, including over C&D. By no means disgraced in a Listed race aty Newbury last time and sets the standard with her draw a plus. Has to concede weight all round on her first attempt at 6f.
Won on her debut at Newbury and was by no means disgraced when sixth in a Group 3 contest at Newmarket last time, pulling hard and not getting a clear run. Better than that form suggests and looks a major player if able to get across from wide draw.
Won on her second start at Beverley, but limitations were exposed at Newbury last time when she was last of 15, well behind Yogi's Girl. Hard to see her turning the tables against that talented rival.
Made all to win on her second start at Wolverhampton and improved on that when second in better company at Ripon. This demands even more, but stable does particularly well at this venue and she is respected.
Second of two runs at this track was much the better. That was over 7f and she drops back to 6f which might suit. She has plenty to do, however, and can run in nurseries after this, which should suit better.
Confirmed debut promise when scoring narrowly at Windsor. She needs to improve again if she is to get involved, but that could well happen and a good draw will help.
Only one win over 5f in seven starts and is another who was well behind Yogi's Girl at Newbury. Has bits of form which give her a chance, but has to prove fully effective at this trip.
Showed promise on debut at Haydock, and probably found the ground too soft when well behind subsequent Lowther Stakes winner Threading at Goodwood. There is nothing of that one's calibre in this, but she still has something to find.
Forecasts
Mayyasah (6/4), Yogi's Girl (3/1), Reflect Alexander (7/1), Peggy's Angel (8/1), Deviate (8/1), Wirral Girl (12/1), Supersymmetry (20/1), Mariah's Melody (100/1)
A fair race of its type and Yogi's Girl sets the standard after her good run in Listed company last time and earlier win over C&D. She is feared, but has to prove her effectiveness over 6f so preference is for MAYYASAH, who did not get the rub of the green in a much better race at Newmarket last time and is fancied to return to winning ways despite an unfavourable draw. Peggy's Angel is respected, while stable companions Deviate and Supersymmetry can go well for their respected stable.
- Mayyasah
- Yogi's Girl
- Peggy's Angel
