Just got home under this rider last week and a 6lb penalty makes this tougher. In better shape than most of these though.
Inconsistent sort who has gone more than two years without a win. One to treat with caution and new trip is a further concern.
Good ride for an apprentice and has gone well over C&D in the past. Suited to a fast surface and has solid each-way claims.
Almost two years since his last win which came off a 31lb higher mark. Last of seven in heavy ground last time but had indicated he retained ability on his previous three starts. Quicker conditions will help as will the drop to basement grade.
Trainer continues to tinker with distances but his chances are not obvious. A spell on the sidelines adds to the negatives but the yard have snapped up a good young rider.
19-race maiden and hard to be positive about his prospects having been beaten an aggregate of 63L on his last two starts.
Well beaten on his last two starts and he is now dropped in class for his first attempt at this trip (record 1-4) in four years. Worth a check in pre-race trading.
On a long losing run and has not looked poised to snap that streak lately. Stable, 1-42 this term, have secured a top claimer.
Went well over C&D last weekend. Does not always back up good performances these days, but this track on fast ground does bring out the best in him.
Has won here three times but needs to bounce back from a woeful effort last weekend. Hard to fancy on that evidence.
Last win came in 2013 and hard to see this plunging mark reversing his fortunes judged on recent form.
On a 17-race losing streak but has shaped better lately but has been too keen. The drop in distance helps but others look more persuasive.
Better last time on handicap debut but it is an effort that still leaves him with work to do after a 95 day absence.
Forecasts
La Havrese (9/2), Arithmetic (13/2), Outlaw Torn (7/1), So It's War (7/1), Bergholt (8/1), Hannington (8/1), Ivors Involvement (10/1), Shearian (11/1), I'm Super Too (12/1), Ingleby Angel (14/1), Judicious (16/1), Little Choosey (20/1), Shudbeme (25/1)
Hannington enters calculations given his current wellbeing in a field where most have questions to answer. Shearian is interesting down in grade over this trip and Outlaw Torn favours this track on a fast surface. LITTLE CHOOSEY has gone well here previously and gets an each-way vote for being an honest sort on a fair markwho goes well for a young rider
- Little Choosey
- Hannington
- Outlaw Torn
