Having first run for new yard since switching from Brian Ellison. Drops considerably in grade and has strong claims judged on his Newmarket fourth in a race that has worked out well. Blew the start next time but handily drawn and one to consider.
Looked better last time on return to 5f and drops in class here. Nicely weighted and drawn to make the most of the opportunity.
Both wins have come at Pontefract and this track has a similar stiff finish. Drop back to 5f should help him settle better than on his last two starts and should get a good lead into this from a good draw.
Gave Noah Amor 11lb and a beating earlier in the campaign but has been below par since. Rider 14-56 for the yard needs to get him handy from a poor draw.
Hit a purple patch in June-July but has been in the grip of the handicapper since. Stable have been in better form lately and he looks the type who requires a race run to suit his strong finishing style.
Unbeaten in two starts here including two weeks ago when Roaring Rory was behind him for a second time this season. Has to respond to a 4lb rise in the weights and that rival could turn the tables if enjoying better luck in running.
C&D winner whose two best efforts this year have come here. Closely matched with Noah Amor on latest run and has made the frame on every occasion he has raced from this mark.
Can blow the start but was soon prominent, and under pressure, when scoring last time. There is plenty of pace in this and, from this mark, he could leave himself with too much to do.
Has twice finished behind Noah Amor tyhis term including here two weeks ago when he was denied a clear run. Weighted to turn the tables here but the draw could be an issue.
Tends to be more competitive from this mark but his last run cannot be excused for the trip alone. Suited to a strongly run 5f on a stiff track and the jockey booking catches the eye but needs to overcome a tough draw.
Triple C&D winner who likes fast ground. Should have a major chance off this mark if overcoming the draw. Stable in form and worth noting if supported in the market.
Forecasts
Tallinski (7/2), Astrophysics (4/1), Apricot Sky (9/2), Noah Amor (7/1), The Nazca Lines (9/1), Sheepscar Lad (10/1), Classic Pursuit (14/1), Burtonwood (16/1), Oriental Relation (16/1), Roaring Rory (20/1), Bond Bombshell (22/1)
Most of these can have a case made out for them and a good pace is likely. Tallinski is nicely weighted and is well drawn if ridden as positively as at Newmarket last time. APRICOT SKY was caught on his backside when the stalls opened on his latest start, but his previous effort at Newmarket would be good enough on his stable debut. Astrophysics rarely runs a bad race here and is weighted to give another good account.
