Useful at this level and won a Group 3 at Fairyhouse earlier in the season. Outclassed (but not disgraced) behind Roly Poly in a G1 at Deauville last time, needs the ground to keep drying but has the class to take this.
3-3 at Dundalk this year, showing improved form each time but not so good since being switched back to turf. plenty to find on form with a few of these, and ground likely to be plenty slow enough for her too.
Has improved quite rapidly this year and last couple of runs in Listed company suggest she's capable of holding her own here. Handles soft ground, stays a bit further and may not have finished progressing yet.
Yard among the winners recently, and this one ran right up to form when fourth in a hot Newbury handicap latest. Probably given too much to do there, so that effort can be marked up, and with no trip or ground issues, looks a player here.
Twice placed at Group level this year, ran below par when last seen out at Galway but many from the yard didn't fire there. Yard going much better now but a slight concern that her best form to date has come on quicker.
Hasn't really happened for her since her switch to Ed Dunlop at the beginning of the season, but she put in as good an effort as she has this year when a staying-on fifth at Goodwood last time. Has the class if back on song, so not easily discounted
Has run with great consistency this season and deserves another crack at Group level. Recent form ties her in closely with Music Box and soft ground proved no stumbling block last time. Chances of hitting the frame again at worst.
Took a Listed event at Carlisle earlier in the season with a bit in hand, but has rather lost her way since then and connections now turn to a visor to remedy the situation. Risky now, and needs to bounce back.
Ground to make up with Music Box on their Galway running and her other starts this season also suggest she's likely to fall short of the mark. Needs improvement if she's to challenge for top honours.
Has been running with tremendous consistency and still improving if her latest second in a G3 at Leopardstown is to be believed. Had previously won on soft ground at Galway (can be marked up as she lost a shoe) and must be on the premises again.
Has gone off big prices lately and although not disgraced over 6f here in July, that wa son good ground and even that form falls well short of what's required here.
Nicely bred and did the job well in a Leopardstown maiden last October (form working out) but not seen since, which may indicate training issues, and Pat Smullen prefers the chances of Raymonda. Best watched.
Forecasts
Music Box (9/4), Realtra (4/1), Drumfad Bay (6/1), Raymonda (10/1), Ionization (12/1), Another Story (14/1), Duchess Of France (14/1), Same Jurisdiction (14/1), Tempera (16/1), I'm So Fancy (20/1), Elusive Beauty (25/1), Smoulder (33/1)
MUSIC BOX looks the one to beat on all evidence and she can gain another Group success. She certainly deserves to on her consistency alone and can beat Drumfad Bay again. Duchess Of France might be allowed her own way up front and this improving sort can't be allowed too much rope either.
- Music Box
- Duchess Of France
- Drumfad Bay
