In good form this season and a dual winner over 7f at Brighton including under an apprentice jockey earlier this month. Races off a 4lb higher mark today and one to note with a leading jockey booked to ride.
Dual winner in six outings to date most recently over this trip at Sandown (good-to-soft) a month ago. Finished runner-up off a mark of 84 over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton last time and has been raised 3lb for that latest effort.
Disappointing in five outing since being gelded last autumn. Handicap mark is falling as a result but has been beaten off lower marks on turf already this season. Wears a visor for the first time today.
Winning for the second time when victorious over 7f here at the end of March. Returning from a five month lay-off today and an interesting runner despite a 4lb rise for that latest success.
Best effort since a C&D win back in April came when finishing runner-up over this trip at Brighton (good-to-firm) earlier this month. Races off a mark 3lb higher than for his latest AW success today.
Victorious on his first two outings over 7f here and a respectable effort when 5L sixth in a valuable three-year-old contest over the same trip here last time out. Shapes as if this step up in trip will suit and one for the shortlist here.
Came home 11L clear of his rivals when winning over this trip at Southwell in April. Making his first appearance since being gelded on that occasion but disappointing since and others make more appeal today.
Making his AW debut when successful over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton last time out. Raised 2lb for that effort and worth a check in the market in this contest.
Made a winning debut over C&D last October and put in a couple of respectable fifth placed finishes on turf since. Gelded since his latest outing at Yarmouth (1m1f, good) and worth a check in the market here.
Broke his maiden over 7f at Catterick (good-to-firm) but disappointing on handicap debut in first time cheekpieces subsequently. Needs to return to form if he's to take this.
Forecasts
Omeros (2/1), Golden Goal (10/3), Almoreb (7/2), Fayez (12/1), Flashy Snapper (12/1), Honiara (14/1), Armandihan (16/1), Pendo (20/1), Gambit (20/1), London (20/1)
In the likelihood that there will be a decent pace on in this contest Saeed bin Suroor's GOLDEN GOAL can make amends for a defeat last time out by registering a third win in four starts here. The three-year-old has raced from off the pace on two of those starts and can take this at the chief expense of London, a winner over 7f here last time out while Honiara can finish best of those likely to race on the pace by claiming third.
- Golden Goal
- London
- Honiara
