From a yard that are going well with their juveniles this year this and bred to be suited by further. Still showed something to work on from his debut and will improve but looks a longer term prospect.
Very much looked to need the experience on his debut over 5f at Hamilton (not as sharp on debut as some from this yard). Failed to show any progress on his next run on softer ground and something to prove here stepping up to 7f.
One of two from this stable and very much the second string having shown very little in two outings. Will earn a mark for nurseries after this and that is where his future lies.
Cost ÂŁ20,000 as a two-year -old and the only debut runner in the field. Would be a very rare winner on debut for them and best watched for now.
Sales price shot up from yearling to two-year-old (€85,000) and given that fact he attracted interest on his debut producing a first effort that showed he had ability. That Thirsk debut came over 6f and this extra furlong looks sure to suit.
Has quite a speedy looking pedigree but ran well on his debut over this trip on soft ground in a Catterick minor event. Only beaten a head there by one with more experience and could well step forward again here.
This yard have now hit a better gear with their juveniles but despite showing promise and ability in two runs so far he looks as though he is a work in progress. This longer trip looks sure to suit but could make a better horse next year.
The sole filly in the field the 6f that she ran over on her debut and last time out was always a trip that was going to be on the short side for her. More needed here overall but she should build on her two starts so far and can be competitive again here.

Three Saints Bay (5/2), Vj Day (3/1), Soldier's Minute (9/2), Amazing Rock (11/2), Hippeia (7/1), Crown Of Cortez (12/1), Sunstorm (25/1), Party Fears Too (33/1), Mi Capricho (50/1)
There are quite a few here that will be open to improvement on what they have shown so far and it looks a competitive opener to the card. Hippeia looks as though she needs 7f as does Soldier’s Minute and both of those are expected to play a part. VJ Day has shaped nicely so far and looks to have progress left in him and may well be even better next year with Amazing Rock another who shapes as though he’ll be better in the longer term. THREE SAINTS BAY made a promising debut and, given his pedigree, should appreciate the better surface now and he’s already shown that he can cope with this trip.

- Soldier's Minute
- Hippeia
