French import (two-time 6f winner). Folded tamely after racing to the fore on UK debut at Carlisle (6f) earlier in the month and looks risky dropped in trip with both hood and tongue tie now fitted.
Now a ten-year-old, but continues to run admirably well, and was headed on the post by Upavon at Brighton on his penultimate start. 5f, quick ground and a sharp track suits him well.
Ran well when beaten a head by the pacy Showdaisy at Ayr in early July, but has appeared light on excuses for three defeats since and is dropped a further 2lb in the weights. Not the most regular of winners.
Her career record of 5 from 28 includes a C&D success (in September 2015). She beat Boundsy by a neck at Pontefract on her penultimate start in July, and the step up to 6f rather than a 5lb rise probably did for her at Carlisle latest.
All three of his successes on turf have come over this C&D, and he finished a 2ÂĽL runner up to Glenrowan Rose on soft ground here on his penultimate start. He's handicapped to run a solid race, but was below par at Thirsk recently.
Kept bust since recording a decisive success over this trip at Pontefract in mid June, and is gradually edging back down the weights as a result.. However, yet to win outside of West Yorkshire and no show on his sole previous visit to this track.
Has won four times in 2017 (twice over 6f on the AW, and twice over 5f on turf), so it's tough to label him as inconsistent, but his other starts imply that is the case. Might find the forecast ground a fraction too quick for his liking.
Not visited the winners enclosure since July 2015 and not in the strongest form since his return from an enforced break earlier this year. Very well treated as a result and conditions are ideal if the blinkers work the oracle.
Performed with credit for a number of months and can be relied upon to run his usual solid race. Holds few secrets from the handicapper but respected as he seeks to record a first career success on grass at the fifth attempt.
Backed up a narrow 6f Catterick second to Castlerea Tess in early June by bolting up over this trip at Nottingham a few weeks later. Hit hard with a 10lb rise subsequently and not quite strong enough to threaten to follow up.
Arrives seeking a hat-trick having scored with ease in a Ripon seller and a Yarmouth handicap already during August. Now 9lb higher, but a filly in form can often progress far quicker than a handicapper can react.

Ebtida arrives seeking a hat-trick from a 9lb higher mark, yet still carries bottom-weight in a stronger contest, so commands respect with George Buckell again booked to ride. Wild Approach has raced consistently since recording a couple of victories on the AW earlier in the year and is deserving of a first success on turf, whilst Miningold will be well suited by a return to 5f. However, in the absence of a strong fancy, a real flier is taken on the lightly raced three-year-old CAESAR'S COMET. He's potentially better than he's shown in handicaps so far, and if able to lie up closer to the early pace could prove strong stamina wise late in the race.
