Won a York seller in June (6f, good to firm) and has put up three consistent efforts since, though has been a beaten favourite on her last two starts. 1lb drop won't harm but does need to find a little extra.

Perhaps the soft ground at Newmarket last time was the reason for a dip in form. Should prefer this sound surface and has been given what looks a fair mark for this nursery debut. Very interesting.

Not easy to get a firm handle on his abilities from three runs to date, but if he is able to run to the level of his Haydock effort from last month then from this initial mark he has a squeak. Market check suggested.

Showed promise on both of his first two starts over 6f at Goodwood and Newbury, though well held when stepped up to this trip on good to soft last time. Since gelded and headgear now added, though clearly now has a bit to prove.

Won a Brighton maiden in April (5½f, good to firm) and put up a respectable handicap effort from 1lb higher at Bath last month (5f, firm). Conditions not quite so quick here and longer trip, so has one or two points to prove.

Won a Newmarket seller (7f, soft) comfortably last time and now returns to handicapping on the same mark. Conditions won't be a problem to her and she appears to act well in headgear, so looks to have claims again here.

Has made steady progress across his four starts, the best of which was at Musselburgh last time when stepped up to this trip. Looks to have been given a workable mark and if there is more to come then he may be good enough to exploit it.
