Good servant to connections and knows his way around here blindfold, having been a winner at the track five times but all at longer trips than today. Worry is he'll get outpaced and on that, is best watched here.
Placed on both attempts at this track and ran well when last seen here in May. Winner twice since and now finds himself 10lb higher than that effort so needs to improve again, and needs to bounce back from a poor effort when last seen.
Recent form is not good, but on the plus side is a C&D winner here (4lb higher today) and has the plot draw in stall 1. A revival today wouldn't be the biggest surprise and he's deserving of a second look at least.
Grand old stager that is 8 times a winner here over the years, and showed the fire still burns with a neck second at Catterick (another track he likes) last time out. Not badly drawn and can never be ruled out here.
Has form here, one win from 21 starts at the track but placed numerous other times. Often shows plenty of early pace but stall 10 possibly a negative if he can't get across to the middle. Not discounted, but others preferred.
Running with some consistency at the moment and another solid effort at Haydock when last seen but has no form at the track and can often be slowly away, which would seriously hamper her chance. On that, others hold stronger claims.
C&D winner on debut here back in May 2015 but has only one one other race since then, and recent form nothing to write home about. Change of headgear only had a minimal effect last time and she makes little appeal here.
Struggling for form at present and can often be slowly away, not a good thing here. Connections go for the hood, which may buck his ideas up, but still very hard to fancy at present.
Has some plus points, as he's twice a winner here (from five starts) but seems happier at 6f rather than 5f and was well beaten at this trip when he tried it at Leicester in June. Others make more appeal.
Go back to 2014 and she was a winner over 6f here (for Dave Evans) from a 12lb higher mark, so handles the surface. Has needed both starts this year after a long absence but performed a little better last time so if building on that, not ruled out.
Has had five runs at the track but yet to hit the frame here and the bottom line with him is that he's won just once from 29 starts and is in no great form at present. Hard to make a solid case for.

Not easy to solve, with recent good form at a premium and it may well be that something bounces back for a return to Fibresand. On that score, ROY'S LEGACY has some dismal looking for figures but won here in the spring and if getting away cleanly form stall 1, could take a bit of pegging back. He's worth chancing in an open race. Satellite Express made some eyecatching late ground up last time and should strip fitter here. This trip may be on the short side but she's too well handicapped to rule out. Old Sir Geoffrey may be best of the rest.
