Listed winner over a mile at Leopardstown (good to firm) last summer, has only run three times since, ran fair race over this C&D last month on second start back, also in Listed company, and leading yard now in much better form.
Winner at Hamilton last month and ran fine race since at Galway when denied only by Riven Light (1m½f, good to yielding). That was arguably a career-best and can go well despite 4lb hike.
Won 7f Galway Festival handicap for second year running earlier this month, having also run fine race over 1m there when third (behind Hibou). Tough ask coming here carrying the 6lb penalty.
Half-length second behind Tony The Gent over C&D last month, weighted to stand chance of turning that form around, but has since finished well behind a few of these at Galway. Return here may suit.
Won all three starts on the AW at Dundalk but shed that blemish-free record over 7f at Naas (good to firm) in May and has something to prove on turf for now.
Has won three of her previous five starts, two of them coming over this trip. Laboured finish over 1m2f at Roscommon latest, doesn't appear to be well off at these weights now.
All three wins have come over further, ran decent race over C&D in May when second behind Sea Wolf on testing ground. Behind a few of these at Galway and tame over C&D on firmer ground since.
Decent record on turf but something of a concern that he hasn't run since pair of AW outings in January/February. May need this run but not on a bad rating if ready to go after 205 days away.
Lightly-raced Pivotal colt has two wins from five career starts, though two most recent efforts suggest he's a bit high in the weights here, first-time blinkers need to bring some improvement out.
Appears best suited on the AW these days, a theory supported by recent efforts at Fairyhouse (6f, good) and Galway (1m½f, yielding). Plenty to find with some of these on that latest Ballybrit run.
Just the one win from 19 career starts but often hits the frame, would have his merits on a going day but delivered a very tame effort on soft ground at Goodwood this month and hard to be confident.
C&D winner and likes this place, very credible effort when second last time off this rating, but that came over 1m4f, so has to prove as adept dropping significantly back in trip.
Winner on the AW in Britain last year for Mark Johnson, yet to get off the mark since joining this yard but has run well on occasion, including at Galway latest which ties in well here, and could hold decent claims with repeat effort.
Twice a winner already this year but an abject failure in two runs at the Galway Festival (previously won at the track) and that ensures there are questions to answer now.
Filly has won twice this year, including over 7f at Carlisle in June from a 1lb higher mark than she races off now. Below best in two runs since that, but cannot be crossed off.
Behind Tony The Gent over C&D last month, first-time tongue tie (retained) didn't bring any improvement at Galway since and has work to do, despite trainer and jockey going well lately.
Just touched off by Surrounding over C&D last month, then well beaten at the Galway Festival but since won 7f soft-ground Cork handicap (beating Surrounding), 8lb hike for that Mallow success makes life plenty tough here.
Doesn't have all that many miles on the clock for a 9yo, three runs last month (two here) were all positive with a win over 1m at Leopardstown. Warrants some thought now returned to the mile.
Maiden winner over longer trip at Gowran Park in June, but twice let favourite-backers down since. Drops in trip now but hard to fancy amongst the massed ranks assembling here.
Mark continues to slide after five underwhelming efforts this term. Didn't run badly last time at Galway over 7f but just a maiden win to show from ten starts and others appeal more.
Lightly-raced filly won a C&D handicap last month but unable to confirm that form with re-opposing rivals since at Cork dropped to 7f on heavy ground. Not discounted back here and remains unexposed.
Twice a winner at Listed level in Britain in his younger days, ran a fine race over this C&D a fortnight ago when second of nine and runs off the same mark here. This is clearly tougher.
Fair gelding, holding his form well over the summer and is closely matched with a fair few of these on various formlines. No shock to see him go well again, with perhaps place money up for grabs.
Fairly useful handicapper for Ballydoyle, is 8lb higher than previous winning mark but run well enough recently and first-time blinkers could help uncover something extra needed.
Lightly-raced sort, not beaten far in a Galway handicap last time over extended-mile on soft ground. Runs off the same mark here with blinkers on first time and yard now in rude health, needs to be taken seriously.
Filly has improved for application of headgear recently, and most recent Galway effort over extended-mile demands respect if she gets in (Second Reserve).
Winner over 1m at Gowran Park last month, since run two fair races at Galway and Leopardstown but this looks tough on current terms if he gets in (Third Reserve).

A typically fierce handicap to assess, it might be worth siding with SO YOU THOUGHT, despite the fact this race has been won by a three-year-old just once in the last 10 years. He lacks in experience but ran an excellent race when second to Jet Streaming at Galway last time on his second handicap outing. He runs from the same mark , with blinkers now added, while his trainer has gone from a frustrating run to a 29% strike rate over the previous fortnight. Stablemate Foxtrot Charlie, carrying top weight, is a Listed winner already and also has to be respected with Smullen up and the Rosewell House team in such fine tune. Pincheck has been flying since joining Jessica Harrington and is also on the shortlist while the likes of Gold Spinner and Surrounding could have plenty more in the tank and are noted alongside in-form pair Hibou and Tony The Gent in a wide open event.
