Fourth of eight last time out, though only beaten 1½L Now 2lb lower than his last win in September 2015, when with Henry Candy and may struggle on the quick ground.
Dual CD winner who must be considered now just 1lb higher than last win. That win was here in June when 1L in front of Bromance.
Now 3lb lower than his last win in a Haydock 1m2f handicap. The gelding has won here in eight starts.
Sporting a hood for the third occasion here, following two disappointing tries with it the last twice, when well beaten at Musselburgh. May struggle on the quick ground.
A five-race maiden who was third of nine here on penultimate start last month, beaten 4¾L. Handicapper continues to take a chance, now 3lb lower than original handicap mark and first-time headgear.
Having her 11th start of the season and is just two wins from 23 career starts. Still 5lb higher than last win and readily passed over.
Winner on good to firm ground at Ayr in May, before doubling up at Wolverhampton next time out. Raised a total of 12lb for those two wins. Beaten since but still the handicapper fails to relent.
Three wins, five place efforts from 22 races at the track. Last win here was over 12 months ago off a mark of 54, 2lb higher than today's mark and must be respected round here. Conditions to suit.
Is two wins and a place round here in four spins. One of those wins came in the stewards room, but he is gutsy. Beaten favourite last twice in defeats at Pontefract and Thirsk. Handicapper unmoved.
Not disgraced in his last four starts, making it 0/6 for current yard. Two wins for the Tony Carroll stable both came on the All-Weather at Newcastle.
Formerly with Jeremy Gask, the filly is still a nine race maiden. Well beaten on all three starts for current yard and difficult to make a case.
Forecasts
Bollin Ted (15/8), Bit Of A Quirke (4/1), Lord Kitten (17/2), Twiggy (10/1), Spirit Of The Vale (11/1), Lopito de Vega (12/1), Perceived (14/1), I'm Super Too (14/1), Neptune Star (20/1), Leonard Thomas (20/1), Ching Ching Lor (20/1)
As with a number of races here on the Westwood, the likes of Neptune Star, Leonard Thomas, I'm Super Too and Spirit Of The Vale, don't want to be getting behind too early. Upfront the pace will possibly come from, Bit Of A Quirke, with Bollin Ted and Ching Ching Lor for company. The race could well be won on the nod, between Bit Of A Quirke and BOLLIN TED, who gets a stone from his opponent.
- Bollin Ted
- Bit Of A Quirke
- I'm Super Too
