Beat a subsequent winner at Leicester in June but looked out of his depth in a Group 2 at Newmarket last month. This is easier and handicap mark not excessive; should go well for a trainer and jockey whose strike-rate that exceeds 21% around here.
Off the mark at the second attempt and followed that up with a win at Ayr last week. Runner-up didn't do a whole lot for the form subsequently and she'll need improvement to figure here.
Improved from his debut to win over C&D last month and only just denied in a follow-up bid at Brighton. Compromised his chance a little with a slow start but can bounce back here and should run well.
Improved with every start to date and held on gamely at Yarmouth last time having split a useful pair at York the time before. Handicap mark looks fair and this jockey has a fine strike-rate at this course.
Still a maiden after five starts and ran well at York last month. Disappointing last time out at Musselburgh over this trip but too early to be writing him off and he gets a talented 7lb claimer in the saddle.
Has been a little disappointing on his three starts to date, all three efforts over this trip and he's seemingly the second-string on jockey bookings. Makes handicap debut.
Forecasts
Finsbury Park (3/1), Maksab (10/3), Affina (4/1), Midnight Wilde (4/1), Tadleel (9/1), Dontgiveuponbob (12/1), El Chapo (14/1)
MAKSAB found Group company too tough last time out but he'll appreciate this drop in class on handicap debut. Tadleel had excuses last time out and should bounce back but Midnight Wilde was impressive last time and gets the services of Gerald Mosse in the saddle, a man who rides this course well.
