In decent form in recent starts and followed up a good Hexham effort by finishing runner-up over this C&D on good-to-soft ground in June. Looking for a third success in the race having won this in 2016 (off a 7lb lower mark) and 2015.
Victorious twice over C&D already this season and chasing a hat-trick following a win off an 8lb lower mark here last month. Useful 10lb claimer successful on him in June returns to the saddle today.
In decent form during the winter placing three times including when 1L second over 2m1f at Cheltenham (soft) in January. Well beaten at Ascot the following month and returns from a six month absence today.
Registered his first victory since joining this stable when victorious over an extended 2m at Bangor (soft) in March last year. Fair effort over 2m3f subsequently and drop in trip should suit on his first run in over 15 months.
Won twice over C&D in the spring most recently on good-to-soft ground off a 4lb lower mark in June. Decent effort when runner-up on soft ground here last time out and regular 10lb claimer is on board once more.
Winner over 2m3f at Fontwell (good-to-firm) in June on his final outing for Peter Fahey. Would likely prefer quicker ground than is forecast here on his debut for this yard following an 8lb rise.
Notched up a hat-trick around this time last year when trained by Jonathan Fogarty but well held since including on debut for this yard at Southwell (soft) in March. Probably best watched at present.
C&D winner on good ground last month and had a stiff task at the weights when contesting a conditions hurdle over an extended 2m at Galway (good) subsequently. Races off a mark 2lb higher than for that latest success.

Forecasts
Beeno (2/1), Tornado Watch (2/1), Itshard To No (6/1), Idder (15/2), Captain Brown (8/1), Lough Kent (9/1), Man Of Plenty (12/1), Mighty Whitey (12/1), Benny In Milan (14/1)
BEENO can complete a hat-trick following wins over this C&D on his last two outings. The selection pulled well clear of his rivals when scoring on soft ground last time and he can take this at the chief expense of Captain Brown who has won this race for the past two years but may have to give best to an improved individual here. Man Of Plenty has been contesting better races than this on his most recent starts and can put a disappointing Ascot effort in February behind him by taking third on his first outing since.
- Beeno
- Captain Brown
