Lightly-raced gelding and suffered his first defeat when finishing third over 7f on the AW at Lingfield last time out. Stayed on well on that occasion and an interesting runner off a 2lb higher mark on his turf debut here.
Successful twice from 11 career starts and put in his best effort this season when finishing third at Bath (1m, good-to-firm) last time out. Interesting runner in this.
Disappointing since winning on soft ground over C&D on debut in June last year. Handicap mark is falling as a result and returning to this track for the first time since today.
Broke his maiden over 7f at Newbury (good-to-soft) in September last year but well held in three handicaps this time around and others make more appeal in this contest.
Sole success came over this trip at Chester (good) in September 2016. Well held the last twice and cheekpieces worn for the first time last time out are replaced with a visor today.
Broke her maiden over 7f at Newbury (good) on her penultimate outing. Ran a fair race when finishing third of five off a 2lb higher mark at Leicester (good) a month ago and races off the same mark with a hood worn for the first time here.
Registered his first victory when pulling 3½L clear of his rivals over this C&D on good-to-firm ground last time out. Has been raised 10lb for that success and one to note in this contest.
Forecasts
Bengal Lancer (10/11), Family Fortunes (9/2), Limelite (8/1), Rebel De Lope (10/1), Warrior's Spirit (10/1), Arc Royal (14/1), Jackhammer (20/1)
Top weight FAMILY FORTUNES can make a winning turf debut by defying a 2lb rise having finished a decent third at Lingfield last time out. The selection was defending an unbeaten record on that occasion having won his two previous starts and his breeding suggests that he will handle the good-to-soft ground forecast here. Bengal Lancer impressed when winning last time out and can take second in this contest while Limelite can take third in a first time hood.
- Family Fortunes
- Bengal Lancer
- Limelite
