Three wins from his last four outings have seen his mark rise from 105 up to 122. He was a slightly fortunate winner last time out and this 4lb higher mark makes life tougher again although he should give a good account from the front.

Useful sort on the Flat (won a Group 3 in Qatar) he appears to have taken well to hurdles after a mishap on his first outing over them (unseated rider). Made up for that next time out winning a Worcester novice and ran well again last time. Interesting on handicap debut.

Pushing into the veteran stage now and certainly not capable of the form that he once was and raced in a very lazy fashion last time out at Worcester despite coming fourth. Hasn't won since 2013 and hard to place much faith in here to break that run.

A move to this yard earlier in the year appeared to rejuvenate him and mixing hurdling and chasing he reeled off four consecutive victories. The winning spree was ended by some sloppy jumping and he now has to prove his worth off a 7lb higher mark.

Formerly with Sir Michael Stoute (won a maiden for him over 1m4f) he's only shown limited ability so far in three hurdles runs. Now goes handicapping off a relatively lower mark compared to his Flat rating and worth checking out in the market.

An interesting little contest and Our Three Sons is sure to give this a good go from the front although his mark is now becoming restrictive his game attitude should keep should keep him in this. However both NOVIS ADVENTUS and Altaayil are making their handicap debuts here and both have hinted that they are capable of better in this sphere the former particularly so. Lake Chapala has to prove her can improve again off a higher mark and he’s not always looked the most straightforward despite his good recent form.
