Caused a 33-1 surprise when making all to win a Lingfield AW handicap two starts ago, but was well beaten off 3lb higher last time. Runs off the same mark and others look better treated.
Still a maiden after five starts, but last two runs have been encouraging. She has been dropped 1lb since finishing third of five on her latest outing and is in the mix with the same jockey on board.
Showed good tenacity to get off the mark at Catterick in June, but has struggled off slightly higher marks since. Hinted at a return to form last time and is only 1lb higher than when successful.
Only win in 11 starts came off this mark on the AW at Wolverhampton in April, but he has run well on several occasions and was by no means disgraced behind an in-form performer at Leicester (6f) last time. Fair claims.
Had been knocking on the door before winning at Brighton last time. That was over 7f, however, and drop in trip not ideal off a higher mark.
Only win came in June, last year, but signs of a revival recently and has slipped to a career-low handicap rating. Wears cheekpieces for the first time and makes some appeal.
Not much to get excited about in three 5f maidens, but may do better now she is handicapped. Stable does well with its sprinters, a hood is fitted for the first time and a leading jockey is engaged. Interesting.
Only limited signs of promise as a juvenile and probably needed the run on her reappearance at Yarmouth last month. Should strip fitter and is on a feasible handicap mark dropped back to 5f.
Still a maiden after 23 starts, nine of them on turf. If replicating her second at Ffos Las off this mark three starts ago, she would have a chance, but her career record is offputting.
Irish raider who has been tried over various distances in maiden, claiming and handicap company. Hard to know what to expect back at the minimum trip in a first-time visor, but trainer has booked this track's leading jockey. Fascinating contender.
The shortest price she has started in five outings is 25-1 and her displays so far have reflected that lack of confidence. Wears blinkers for the first time and they will need to have a huge effect.
Last two starts have been over longer trips, but he did run respectably when third in a first-time visor over C&D in June and has claims on that run off a 4lb lower mark. Blinkered first time and certainly not out of it.
Forecasts
Whiteley (5/2), Blue Rocks (4/1), Glyder (6/1), Passionatta (7/1), Stopdworldnletmeof (7/1), Exquisite Ruby (14/1), Billy's Boots (16/1), Kodiac Pearl (16/1), Sweet Sienna (16/1), Celerity (18/1), Snoozy Sioux (33/1), Bills Delight (66/1)
Passionatta is an intriguing Irish contender in a first-time visor and any money for her would be significant. The same can be said of KODIAC PEARL, however, and she gets the nod now she is handicapping for a stable which does so well with its sprinters. At the foot of the handicap, Stopdworldnletmeof is of interest, while Exquisite Ruby and Blue Rocks are also respected in a wide-open contest.
- Kodiac Pearl
- Passionatta
- Stopdworldnletmeof
