Winning for the fourth time when successful on soft ground in an amateur riders contest at Ascot over 7f last month. Races off a mark 1lb lower than when winning over C&D in September 2015.
Dual winner in 2016 but well beaten in three outings so far this season including when highly tried on seasonal debut. Probably best watched on this occasion.
Only victory in ten races came at Haydock over 6f on good ground as a two-year-old. Missed last season and handicap mark is falling having been held on all six starts so far in 2017. Debuts for a new stable today.
Unbeaten in two starts on the AW most recently when successful over 7f here last week. Carries a 6lb penalty for that success and one for the shortlist on just his second start over today's distance.
Well held since finishing runner-up over 7f at Goodwood (good) in May. Wore an eyeshield for the first time when winning over C&D back in March and remains on a mark 1lb higher than for that success.
Making his seasonal debut and first appearance since being gelded when finishing last of 14 at Thirsk (soft) in May. Probably best watched on his first outing in three months.
C&D winner off a 3lb lower mark back in December last year and finished a close fifth at Lingfield on his penultimate outing. Disappointed here last time however and others have a more obvious chance in this.
Running well in the main this year including when runner-up over 1m at Newbury (good) on his penultimate outing. Disappointing at Ascot last time out however and interesting to see how he fares in this.
Successful over an extended 1m at Beverley (good) on his final start for Andrew Balding in June. Subsequently purchased for £22,000 by connections and blinkers worn for that victory are left off on debut for this yard.
Run some sound races in defeat so far this term but well beaten in a first time eyeshield (retained) when finishing ninth of 11 over 1m at Newmarket (soft) last time out and needs to bounce back here.
AW maiden winner at Newcastle last October and best effort since came when fourth over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton last time out. Races off the same mark here and an interesting runner in this.
Forecasts
Mazyoun (2/1), Ahlan Bil Zain (6/1), Georgian Bay (13/2), Golden Wedding (15/2), The Warrior (8/1), Eltezam (11/1), Run To The Hills (12/1), Timeless Art (16/1), Dutch Uncle (20/1), Presumido (25/1), War Of Succession (50/1)
Ascot winner GEORGIAN BAY can register his fourth AW victory by taking this competitive looking 7f handicap. The selection saw off 13 rivals on his most recent outing and has won off a higher mark here in the past. Ahlan Bill Zain is less exposed than most of his rivals today and can step up on his most recent AW effort by finishing runner-up today. Mazyoun impressed when winning over 7f here last week and is taken to finish third here.
