Back to form with a win at Nottingham last time out but likely to find things plenty tougher under a penalty. Yard have returned to form in recent weeks and he's versatile ground wise so he has each-way claims.
Still a maiden after six starts (latest five starts at this course) and improved for the drop back to 5f when runner-up of five over C&D last time. On the same mark and gets the services of a useful 5lb claimer this time so should go close again.
Improved when switched from maidens to handicaps this summer and got off the mark over 6f here two starts back. Can be forgiven a moderate effort at Brighton last time and likely she's still in form and has run well over 5f before.
Got a race in the stewards room at Musselburgh last month and had been in some good form prior to that. Has won off higher marks than this and will enjoy the fast ground so should give another good account.
Won off a mark of 63 here last year over 6f but has returned out of form this time around. Came good around this time last year and while she was disappointing here last week, a drop back in trip should see her in a better light.
Winner on second start at Wetherby and remained in form throughout last year but has been a little hit and miss this time around. Ran well over C&D here in June but not as good on subsequent starts and may struggle here.
Course winner who was a fair third over C&D last week and finished runner-up at Brighton the time before. Clearly in good form but seemingly has little scope from this mark. Each-way claims.
10-race maiden and gone off the boil of late most recently when finishing last of 12 over 5f at Newcastle at the end of last month. Chances if returning to the form of her placings off higher marks in the spring but yard have been a little quiet.
Not won since 2015 and losing run mounting up. Has finished last on his latest two runs and likely to struggle from out of the handicap here.
Forecasts
Agnethe (2/1), Hamish Mcgonagain (3/1), Defining Moment (9/2), Justice Rock (6/1), See Vermont (12/1), Miss Rosina (14/1), Maggi May (20/1), Sakhee's Jem (20/1), Rat Catcher (66/1)
SAKHEE'S JEM hit some form around this time last year and she may be able to do a little better not tackling a sharper trip. The David O'Meara stable have hit some form and Hamish Mcgonagain may bounce back while Justice Rock is a solid each-way candidate after finishing third over C&D event last week in a more competitive affair than this.
- Sakhee's Jem
- Hamish Mcgonagain
- Justice Rock
