Left his debut form way behind when running here over 7f with a first-time tongue-tie on showing a good attitude to assert close home. Has to concede 7lb plus all round here and that may prove to be quite a test.

Has quite a smart pedigree and was a well-backed 9/2 chance on his debut at Leicester but showed very little and was beaten quite quickly. Given his position in the betting last time he could be expected to show more here with that run under his belt.
The only debutante in the field he cost £60,000 as a yearling and is a brother to a useful winner at up to 1m2f Queen Of The Sand. The dam was unraced but he comes from a yard that do well here and might be worth a second glance.

Showed up well on his debut (outran his price) but the softer ground that he encountered on his second run didn't look to suit at all. Given his run last time any rain might not be to his advantage here and progress may stall again.
The only filly in the field she comes from a stable that are having a great season and despite the fact that she regressed a little from her debut she could bounce back here back over 7f. Showed ability on her debut over 7f and given another chance here.

Forecasts

Al Ozzdi (2/1), Tiny Tempest (9/4), Trogon (11/4), King Of The Sand (11/2), Enzo (16/1)

Verdict

An interesting heat with Al Ozzdi showing that he could handle this track when winning here last time out but he does have to give weight away here and TINY TEMPEST is given another chance to show her running last time out was all wrong. A return to her debut form is needed but that’s not ruled out and both Trogon and Enzo will need to step up on what they have shown so far.
  1. Tiny Tempest
  2. Al Ozzdi
  3. Trogon
