Successful three times already this season including over C&D on soft ground last week. Made all on that occasion and has to defy a 6lb rise in the weights today.
Eight time winner at up to 1m2f. Beaten 100L when finishing last of four at Windsor over an extended 1m3f last time out and wears cheekpieces for the first time today.
Successful four times in 30 races to date most recently over this trip at Ripon (good) in June. Fair effort when 8L fifth at Chester upped to an extended 1m5f last time and an interesting runner here.
Victorious on the AW at Newcastle over an extended 1m4f on his penultimate outing. Well beaten on his return to turf last time but better ground forecast today should help.
Winner twice as a two-year-old last year and best effort this season came when a close third over 1m4f at Ascot (good-to-soft) last time out. Races off the same mark today and one for the shortlist here.
Completing a double when winning over 1m4f at Newmarket (good) in June and ran well when second at Windsor the following month. Failed to show in a competitive soft ground contest at Goodwood last time and better ground forecast today should suit.
Made a winning seasonal debut over 1m2f at Chelmsford in May. Couple of fair efforts since including in a first time visor at Newbury (good-to-firm). Visor left off following a defeat last time and stable can boast a 24% strike-rate of late (10/41)
Forecasts
Bear Valley (9/4), Melting Dew (11/4), Amlad (9/2), Mutadaffeq (6/1), Theos Lolly (8/1), Airton (14/1), Croquembouche (25/1)
Bottom weight MELTING DEW represents leading connections here and can take this middle-distance handicap. The selection finished runner-up on his penultimate outing and he can put a poor run last time behind him by recording his first turf success in this. Top weight Mutadaffeq can take second as he bids to follow up his C&D success of last week while Bear Valley, who finished a closed third at Ascot last weekend can take third once more here.
- Melting Dew
- Mutadaffeq
- Bear Valley
