Impressive when scoring here on Monday and a 6lb penalty looks within the scope of that performance. Stable do well at this fixture and she looks the obvious one to beat.
Stable have a 35 percent strike rate and trainer/jockey combination are 10-37. Has run to a similar standard on all three starts this term and needs to find extra to land this.
Expensive purchase for this trainer at 28,000 gns having won twice for Ed Walker. Well beaten on yard debut but hood refitted and claims on the value of his Newbury success (third and fourth won since). 4lb worse off now with Chocolate Box.
Weighted to turn the tables on King's Coinage but he has looked a tricky ride with a tendency to hang under pressure. Stable are in good form and obvious contender if putting his mind to it.
It seems to be a lack of a turn of foot rather than a lack of effort that has seen him maintain his maiden status after nine races. Takes another step up in trip in a bid to find the key.
Nottingham winner who struggled off this new mark last time. Ground may have been a factor but the yard have been going through a quiet period.
AW maiden winner who has been campaigning over longer trips lately. Mark continues to slip but performances have warranted the drop. Earns respect hailing from a top yard that have landed this twice since 2012, but still remains hard to fancy.
Dam was best at today's trip and another crack at this distance could prove the answer for this 12-race maiden. Handicapper has not unduly punished him for his latest efforts so another prominent display is likely.
Forecasts
Fire Leopard (11/8), Chocolate Box (10/3), Solo Mission (13/2), The Blues Master (8/1), Epitaph (9/1), Somnambulist (16/1), Aelius (16/1), King's Coinage (22/1)
Epitaph looks set to go close once more but may again find another too good with FIRE LEOPARD fancied to follow up Monday's comfortable success. A 6lb penalty for that smooth performance leaves her on a good mark and the stable have been more productive lately. Chocolate Box has looked less straightforward lately but should still be thereabouts.
- Fire Leopard
- Epitaph
- Chocolate Box
