Daughter of Mastercraftsman purchased for €52,000 as a yearling last October. Half-sister to 6f two-year-old winner Holy Cat. Shaped well behind a promising stable companion on debut over 7f at this track, running on well to suggest this trip will suit. Leading contender.
Oasis Dream filly whose dam was a winner over 6f-1m and a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Forte Dei Marmi. Did not show a great deal on debut at Newmarket and she is probably one to be interested in when handicapping.
Daughter of Dark Angel purchased for 60,000gns as a yearling last October. Showed some promise when fifth of 11 at Newmarket on debut and should know more this time.
Mastercraftsman filly who fetched 55,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to 7f 2yo winner Paulownia. Dam won over 1m 7f in France. Plenty of stamina in her pedigree, so this trip should suit on debut. Stable can produce one to win first time.
Mastercraftsman filly, half-sister to Group 1 winner Journey and dam a winner of the Prix Royal-Oak. Showed clear signs of ability after a slow start on debut at Ascot and should be much wiser here. Step up in trip should not be an issue.
Purchased by current connections for £130,000 and bred to be decent. Going on at the finish when in mid-division in 7f maidens here and at Thirsk, so the extra furlong should suit. Looks one for nurseries, however, and stable companion Amazing Michele looks the yard's number one.
Forecasts
Stream Song (10/11), Dark Rose Angel (7/2), Bessie Warfield (13/2), Amazing Michele (8/1), Lubinka (14/1), Toomer (20/1), Zoffinia (40/1)
Lubinka is an interesting newcomer and should be noted for any market support, while Stream Song looks certain to step up on her debut run for her powerful stable. Dark Rose Angel is another likely improver, but the one which is of most interest is AMAZING MICHELE, who came home well over 7f on debut here, should be much wiser and ought to be suited by the extra furlong.
