Remains a maiden after eight starts but she clearly has the ability to win a race of this nature. Found 2m stretching her stamina last time out and the drop back to this trip is sure to work in her favour. A leading contender for sure.
Beaten just under 4L on his debut over 7f, but he has never been nearer to the winner in any of his subsequent races. Was a well-beaten second in a race over this CD last time out but cannot be discounted in this contest.
A winner over a mile at Southwell back in April, he arrives here in good heart having scored at Uttoxeter at the end of July, winning a 2m juvenile hurdle with any amount in hand. Back on the level this evening and a big run is expected.
He ran well to open his account over 3f less at Windsor back in June and followed that with a couple of solid performances over the same trip. Not disgraced last time when trying this sort of trip for the first time and is not out of it here.
Has cut little ice at long odds so far in three races over shorter distances and will do well to open her account this evening. Has found herself behind in all three starts and is best watched.
Had shown glimpses of form before opening his account at the sixth timer of asking, winning a Brighton selling handicap over 1m4f by a short-head from Bizet, shaping as though there was more to come. Extra distance should not bother him and he is short-list material.
She showed a lot of tenacity to get her head in front at Lingfield three runs back over a shorter trip and likes to race up with the pace. May have to be ridden with a little more restraint over this longer trip but she is definitely one to note.
Regularly sent off at long odds in all of his races and has only managed to beat a handful of his opponents home, showing little in the way of ability. Steps up in trip but is impossible to fancy on the form book.
Has a similar profile to The Batham Boy and a first victory would appear to be someway off at the moment. Last of 14 at odds of 100/1 over a mile last time at Salisbury, it seems unlikely that this much longer trip will suit and she is one to discount.
He has had four runs to date, running easily his best race over this trip at Wolverhampton last time out when beaten just over 6L behind the winner, Sheriff Garrett. Open to further improvement and could run into a place at least.

The Secrets Out (5/2), Curtsy (7/2), Percy Thrower (4/1), Tojosimbre (6/1), Crucial Moment (7/1), Volturnus (12/1), Black Prince (12/1), Affair (14/1), Artic Nel (16/1), Street Jester (28/1), The Batham Boy (33/1), Hoover Fever (66/1)
Volturnus appreciated the step up to this trip last time and if stepping up on that run, he could take a hand in the finish. Curtsy is a surefire future winner and having found 2m a shade too far last time, this trip will be more to her liking and she will not lack support. Affair could be interesting stepping up in trip while Tojosimbre was a decent winner last time and he could quite easily follow up. The Secrets Out has solid credentials and is entitled to plenty of respect but CRUCIAL MOMENT gets the nod. A winner over a mile back in April, he cruised to a comfortable success over hurdles recently and is in great heart and looks poised to regain the winning thread on the level.
- Crucial Moment
- The Secrets Out
- Tojosimbre
