6lb penalty for recent Lingfield 6f success offset by apprentice's 7lb allowance, so should be thereabouts if recovered from last week's race. Top weight and the drop back in trip make this a proper challenge.
Not beaten far over C&D on penultimate start and ran better than finishing position indicates at Brighton last time. Does appear to lack a finishing kick though, so from a wide draw has her work cut out.
Never in the hunt at Lingfield last time after starting slowly (yet again) having shown first sign of real ability on previous start at Brighton. Needs to jump off on terms and this is far from guaranteed.
Makes handicap debut here off a modest mark and may improve for this step into nursery company after hinting at ability in maidens. Needs to improve, but any market interest for this Yorkshire raider might be worth noting.
Yard 0-34 with their juvenile runners on the A/W over the last five years so stats very much against this daughter of Showcasing who has her first start in a handicap.
Appeared to show improved form at Brighton last time when a close runner-up having met trouble-in-running at a vital stage. First start on the Tapeta, but looks one of the more likely types to be in there at the finish.
Dandy Man colt hailing from a yard not known for having winners on the Flat, particularly with juveniles. Hasn't shown a great deal in four outings so far, but jockey booking might suggest better is expected this time.
Claimed by current handler after finishing second at Beverley in May, having won a seller on her previous start at Redcar. Outclassed in hot race on debut for new connections soon after but may prove competitive off today's mark after a break of 69 days.
May do better now handicapped and wearing a first-time tongue-tie. Makes the trip down from Scotland and shrewd yard always respected, so worth a glance in the betting for any sign of confidence.
Steps back from 7f to 5f in one hit having hinted at a little ability in three starts to date. Nicely drawn, and presence of leading A/W rider does her chance no harm at all.

Princess Lyla (5/4), Savannah's Show (13/2), Terri Rules (8/1), Llamrei (10/1), Roman Spinner (11/1), Hypnotic Dancer (12/1), Erastus (12/1), Owen The Law (14/1), Cherry Oak (16/1), Popsi (25/1), I Am Dandy (50/1)
A trappy event to open proceedings and a chance is taken that ROMAN SPINNER can improve for the drop back in trip and the switch to handicapping. The most obvious danger is top weight Princess Lyla, penalised for her win last week and set to go close if fully recovered from that effort, while Llamrei is another who has the potential to get involved. There may also be better to come from the likes of Hypnotic Dancer and Cherry Oak.
- Roman Spinner
- Llamrei
- Princess Lyla
